Articles, and it has a Management Committee currently comprising 5 n￿bers. Members are
lelected as part of proceedings at Ihe Annual General Meeting. In order to meet the aims of th•
organisation, the managen￿nt Committee has p)wer to employ staff, rent Of buy wemises,
raise fvnds, •nter into partnwships and work wrth other ¢xganizations.

AFRICAN VOICE IN MOSTON went thro(KJh an0tr￿r challengiNJ financial year, h¢)wever we
still managed to pursue our vision and values, ddp4erTrng all our services ¥Mth little resources.
As a volunte8r-W organization. our volunteers have once again created the drfference by
meeting our targets through the provision of all ser4ices needed by our clients. Our volunteering
$cheme is still demonstrating its importanc4 through the excellent and helpful Services provKled
by a dedKated team. This gave the time to our trained trustees needed skills to ddegate duties
to the managerrnnt committee and look for extra funding. AFRICAN VOICE IN MOSTON

Annual Report and the account8 in accordance with appIl￿ble law and United Kingdom
Accounting Standards {Unrted Kingdom Generally A￿pted Ac¢J)unting Practice)
The law applicable to charities In England and Wales require8 the Trustees to prepare
accounts for each financial year which give a true and fair view of the state of affairs of
the charity and of the incoming resources and application of resources of the charity for
that period.
In preparing these accounts. the trustees are required to:

2011 Charrties Act and the Charrty (Ac(x>unts arKI Reports) RegulatK>n8 2008.
