Volunteers and staff worked tirelessly to meet the demand, often serving hundreds of meals in a single week. The impact of this project was significant: families reported reduced stress around food insecurity, children were able to access healthier meals, and the initiative strengthened community bonds in Bilston. We are grateful to the National Lottery for enabling us to achieve this and remain committed to expanding our work to serve even more people across the city in the coming year.

In carrying out its charitable purposes, Kingdom Influence Organisation has had due regard to the Charity Commission’s guidance on public benefit. Our activities are designed to relieve hardship, reduce inequality, and promote community wellbeing through direct support projects, empowerment initiatives, and collaboration with partners.

You **may choose** to include further statements, where relevant, about:

- policy on grantmaking;

- policy programme related investment;

- contribution made by volunteers.

Over the past year, our principal focus has been on addressing food insecurity. Following a grant from the National Lottery, we successfully launched and delivered the Hot Meals Kitchen Project in the Bilston area of Wolverhampton. This project ran for six months and provided thousands of hot, nutritious meals to families and individuals experiencing hardship during a period of rising living costs. The service not only tackled hunger but also created a safe and welcoming environment where people could build connections and access further support.

The project’s success was made possible by the tireless efforts of our volunteers, who contributed their time, skills, and compassion. Their involvement was central to both the smooth running of the kitchen and the warm, community spirit that participants valued.

Whilst Kingdom Influence Organisation is not currently a grantmaking body, our policy is to ensure that all funds received are applied directly to charitable activities that deliver measurable community benefit. Our programme-related investments, such as the Hot Meals Kitchen, are carefully designed to maximise impact, ensure sustainability where possible, and demonstrate accountability to our supporters and funders.

Volunteers form the backbone of our organisation. They contributed hundreds of hours over the past year, including cooking, serving meals, coordinating supplies, and providing pastoral support to families. Their commitment has significantly reduced operational costs and increased the scope of our charitable impact.

Looking ahead, Kingdom Influence Organisation remains committed to expanding its projects, building on the achievements of the past year, and continuing to serve vulnerable communities with compassion, integrity, and accountability.

## Section D Achievements and performance

**Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year**

Following the successful completion of the Hot Meals Kitchen Project in Bilston, Wolverhampton, where thousands of meals were served over a six-month period, Kingdom Influence Organisation has continued to strengthen its role in community development.

Over the course of the year, we have been actively affiliated with a range of community initiatives designed to support vulnerable individuals and promote long-term wellbeing. In particular, we have engaged in volunteering and outreach programmes alongside other faith-based organisations, contributing in various capacities across different areas of need. These have included health-related projects, educational support initiatives, and human rights causes, where our trustees, members, and volunteers have worked collaboratively to serve diverse groups within the community.

Through these partnerships, Kingdom Influence Organisation has extended its reach and impact beyond its own projects, ensuring that our resources, time, and expertise contribute meaningfully to broader community development efforts. At the same time, we have continued to explore new opportunities to deliver projects that directly improve lives, staying focused on our mission of empowering individuals, supporting families, and strengthening communities.

These activities reflect both our adaptability and our commitment to partnership working, ensuring that our charity remains relevant and responsive to the evolving needs of the public benefit.

## **Section E                    Financial review**

It is the policy of Kingdom Influence Organisation to maintain adequate **Brief statement of the** reserves to ensure the charity’s ongoing financial stability and **charity’s policy on reserves** sustainability. Reserves provide a safeguard against unexpected reductions in income, allow the organisation to meet its legal and contractual obligations, and ensure that key charitable activities can continue without interruption. The trustees review the level of reserves annually in line with the size, nature, and complexity of the charity’s operations. At present, the organisation’s aim is to build and maintain unrestricted reserves equivalent to at least three months of core operating costs, which the trustees consider an appropriate level to protect the charity against unforeseen financial challenges. Where reserves exceed the required level, they will be applied to further charitable activities in accordance with our objectives. Where reserves fall below the desired level, the trustees will take appropriate steps to rebuild them. This policy ensures that Kingdom Influence Organisation can continue to deliver public benefit, honour commitments to beneficiaries and funders, and plan confidently for the future.
