## **Final report**

Sadly, because the charity doesn’t have sufficient funds to pay anyone and was unsuccessful in its attempts to secure volunteers, the difficult decision has been made to shut it down.

Potential donors are no longer able to make donations as the charity’s bank account has been closed and all funds are in the process of being transferred to the Zambezi Society (www.zamsoc.org), a wildlife and wilderness conservation organisation in Zimbabwe.

In due course, Poaching Prevention’s website and social media platforms will be updated with information about the charity’s closure and transfer of its funds. Thanks will be expressed to everyone who kindly donated to the charity and assurance will be given that 100% of the donations made will be used for the protection of wildlife, i.e., that the funds transferred from Poaching Prevention to ZamSoc will be used to help protect the wildlife of Mana Pools National Park by covering costs of deployment vehicles (fuel, maintenance and driver salary) that deploy and uplift ranger units on antipoaching patrols in remote, threat hotspots.
