## Annual Report for 2020 

The intention was to generate income through fundraising events and corporate sponsorship, with a focus on the agreed Kafue National Park project; however, the pandemic and ensuing lockdowns blocked all our fundraising streams and severely impacted our ability to generate income and deliver objectives. 

Our Founding Director personally covered all the charity’s running costs again. 

Unfortunately, our contacts in the Zambian government have been preoccupied with the pandemic; therefore, the Memorandum of Understanding between us has been shelved. 

Shaun Deeney was appointed as a Trustee. 

## MOVING FORWARD 

Our new trustee, Shaun Deeney, has kindly offered to promote the charity during newspaper, radio, and TV interviews following the publication of his book.  We hope to capitalize on this free publicity, raise our profile and increase our funding streams. 

In the event the MOU between ourselves and the Zambian government is not ratified, we plan to liaise with our contacts in Southern Africa and build upon the strategies Jax Metcalfe devised while there.
