The National Databank was launched in July 2021 by Good Thin9s FoundatKJn and Virgin Media 02

world. Ihe Nattonal Databank prowdes free SIMS and mobile data {as well as talk minutes and texts) to
people eXper￿nCi￿j dats povety and vulnefable people in ￿ed, which a￿ distributed through
growing netwo￿ of more thon 1.2CQ (30 June 2023) NatK)n￿ Dats Hubs auoss the UK.
We have seen an inueasing demand fcrf free dala and in the Per1￿j since the laun(41 of our strategy in
April 2022 arbd the end of the financ￿1 year {30 June 20231, we have dislributed 181,798 free SIM cards

In Wales we continued to wort in partnership with Cwmpas and the Wales Government, 10 grow the
National Digital Indusion Nehyork in WaJe$ and to ddiver Leam My Way ￿aMIng ￿ntent in the Welsh
language as well as in English. The Welsh Govemment has taken up our colLaboratNe wort on a
Minimum DvJital Liwng Slandard and are bokiThJ to implement Ihis as a target for people rl Wales.
In Scotland we woth closely with SCVO (the Scotlish Counol for v￿rtIary OnJanisations) and the
Scotbsh Govemmenl lo ensure tt￿1 Peop￿ in Scotland can have a¢ces5 to and benefrt from ￿Jr
