## Activities

**Objects:** The promotion for the public benefit of equality and diversity and in particular discrimination on the grounds of sexual orientation and/or gender identity by:A. the elimination of prejudice and discrimination on the grounds of sexual orientation and/or gender identity in educational institutions;B. advancing education and raising awareness around lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT+) equality and diversity; and,C. promoting and supporting activities to build understanding and respect for LGBT+ young people among heterosexual or cisgender people.

**Activities:** Just Like Us sends recent LGBT school leavers into schools to give talks and workshops that champion LGBT equality and challenge prejudice. Our national initiative, School Diversity Week, empowers pupils to run events that tackle homophobia, biphobia and transphobia. We also train teachers to support students in establishing Pride Groups, student-led clubs for LGBT students and allies.
