As an update on the team, Georglna Duffy and Yaritia Foucaud joined the PA at the start of the year
as coordinators for Maternelle and Upper Sch£￿1 re5pecttvely. Meanwhile, Nirlt Sumeruk and Yuko
Kimura-Drye stepped down at the end of the prevlous academic year as their chlldren had
graduated. Sylvia Nadal had also resigne(I during the previous Summer, and the New Families role
has been absorbed by the wider coordinator team. Iphigenie FO￿at1 and Evetyn Gebran also moved
out of the Primary Coordinator role during the year.
In July 2025, a change of trustees took place. Maya Saad. Julie Lebkirl and Sofia Belcadi stepped
down from thelr respective role5 a5 Presldent. Secretary and Treasurer. They have been succeeded
by Kawtar Horn-5mith as President, Amal Daher a5 Secretary and Frederlc Desobry a5 Treasurer.
Objertives and Artivities
In'line with r(s constitution, the JMPA'S purpose is to enhance the educational experience of
students at the 5ch¢)ol by contributing to their academic and recreational life, developing strong

relatlonshlps between parents, staff, and the wider school community. and supportlng 5chool-
organised events and activities. During tts tenth year, the JMPA suctes5fully delNered a wide array of
events* projects. and inttlatives that fostered school spirit and deepened community ties.
The academicyear began wlth a serie5 of communlty-building events designed to welcome new and
returning families. A Welcome Plcnic in Regent's Park on I September was followed by a week of
Welcome Coffee momings at Cordon Bleu hosted by the PA from 3 September onward5. Teacher
and class meetings throu8hout September were followed by infomial gatherin85 at Cabana,
provlding further opportunitie5 for social cohesion. In Ottober, the PA organlsed a parent
networklng event at RldinE House Bloomsbury.
FestNe celebrations featured prominentty throughout the year. Halloween decorations were
instslled in early Ottober by parent volunteers and Primary children dressed up at school on 20
October to reteive Halloween treats sponsored and distributed by the PA. The Winter Festivlties in
December induded school decorations on 11 December and a visit from Santa on 21 December. The
autumn term wa5 also marked by a rich serie5 of culiural tour5 and musicals, includlng a Gallery Tour
in Mayfair, The Golden Age of Dutch Paintin& the Brltish Museum Enlightenment Gallery. Elf the
Musical, an Impressionists tour ahead of the 150th anniversary. and a guided tour through younger
art galleries.
Chinese New Year was ￿lebrated across all three school buildin85 With themed decorations and
chocolate coin distributions, and Spring Fe5tivitie5 included Easter bonnet parades and chocolate
gtfts for puplts from PS to Year 13. The annual Football Tournament brought together parents, staff
and students. The Ecole Jeannine Manuel London Charity Dinner Gala took place at Hotel Amano In
March. with a preparatory toffee held at the Russell Square primary bulldirk8 50 that class
correspondents and PA members could be briefed on the Gala and the wider fundraising effort.
Sporting and outdoor events agaln broL5ght enery and collaboration to the community. The Run
Against Hunger engaged students from PS to 3e in fundraising runs for Artion Against Hunger. WTth
parents volunteerin8 to count laps- the Royal Parks venue wa5 secured by the PA. The Famlly
Funday. held at Regent's Park towards the end of the summer temi, was a major highlight of the
year, featuring partnerships with Outspoken Cycles, I￿ Cream Dreams, professional fa￿ painters,
the Bubble Lady, Boote(& and Yahire Furnrture. all coordinated by Maya, Yarltza, Arnal, Kawtar and a
large team of class correspondents and parent volunteers. The Talent Show in June showcased
Prlmary in the mornlnB and Upperschool in the aftemoon. and the year ended with the PA-
sponsored Terminale Year-End Celebration / Prom.
The JMPA also active￿ supported career development through its Parents Network, with in-person
and virtual career panels gtwng Upper School students exposu￿ to a range of professional sectors
with parent speakers. A Parents Soirée was organised In the spring terni, bringing together parents
acr055 the school. Work pl3￿MentS were facilitated for students in 3e and 2e. with parents 5eTving
a5 juror5.
In tem)s of community Service. the JMPA organised several charttable initiatives. A food drlve in
Novembersupported the Camden Foodbank. and a toy drive in De￿mber collected Eift5 for children
at Great Ormond Street Hospital. The annual tea towel fundraiser was launched again before the
autumn breaK wlth proceeds donated to the Maglc Breakfast tharity.
Throu8hout the year, the JMPA continued to support the school's daily functioning through second-
hand uniform sales (notably on 15 September and 7 December. with further sales during the
summer temil. management of clas5 lists, communication5 via a regular newsletter. and updates to

the PA webslte. L05t and found operatlons were rnaintained in partnership wlth school staff, wlth
updates shared through the JMPA newsletter and unclaimed items donated or recyded.
The Class Correspondent programme remained an essential element of thè JMPA'S Structure.
Recruitment was launched on 7 September and placement was completed without the need for an
elettlon. a welcome coffee was held on 6 October to brief volunteers on their ￿sponsIbIlIties, and
Frsends of the PA drinks event wa5 held in the summer term to thank correspondents and
volunteers. A centralised gift-giving Initiative was again or8anised at the end of the year so that all
teacher5 and staff received year*nd appreclation.
Achlevements and perfOrn￿nce Rewew
The 2024-2025 academic year has been marked by both continutty and renewal, with a refreshed
coordinator team taking on key roles while maintaining the strong programme of events that has
come to define the JMPA. The integration of new familie5 into the school communlty continued to
be a priortty. supported by the welcome programme in September and the work of the new
oordinators across all year groups.
The breadth of cultural, sportin& arademify social and charitable programmlng refletted the
commitment of JMPA volunteers and their ability to respond creatively to the evolving needs of a
growing school. The Family Funday and the Charity Dinner Gala were two partlcular highlights, both
requiring substantial Ir6i5tical effort. while the cultural tours and the Parents Network career panels
continued to offer high*ualtty enrichrnent to Students and parents alike.
The PA'S support extended beyond the sth00l wa115 through charitable giving and community action,
reinforcing the values of empathy, se[w￿ and soual responsibilty. The association also deepened
its collaboration with the school administratlon, Including continued fin3naal aid for residentlal trips
Ilncluding support for the China trip and other School trips). facllitating the participation of pupils
whose families would othen¥ise have struggled to cover costs.
The JMPA continued to sponsor special items such as the Terniinale hoodies and contributed to the
vear-end Graduation Party, reinforcing student prlde and preserving memories. The dedication of
the PA team. class correspondents. and volunteer5 has made all of thls possible.
Flnanclal Review
At the end of the 2024-2025 school year. the net result was up to £19,900. In addition to the cash
funds that were held at the bank, which brings the reserve funds up to £83.CKJ7.
The JMPA intends to hold approximately £9,CiKJ as reserve funds to ensure the PA will be able, at
any time, to provide help to families who might require finanaal support to let their children take
part in school trip51 per our FinanL?al Aid for Residential Trips policy.
