The trustees note that the Church is not a building, but a gathering of ordinary people of drfferent ages
and backgrounds, whose lives have been changed by Jesus Christ. the Son of God. The New
Testament reveals the Church as a community of people, propedy taught and cared for, who by loving
and serving Jesus Chrisl. were also committed to love and care for each other and to bnng a blessing
to the area in which they lived. LorKlon Huaxia Christian Church: ils trustees. elders and rnernSers are
committed lo the resloration of those New Testament principles. It is not alone in this, it s one of
many Churches in the area. counlry and all over the world that is re4Ji5covering the excitement ol
knowng Jesus Christ. The vision is to see the people of London and all wortd corne Into rhis
experience of knowng Jesus as Iheir Lord, Saviour and friend.
Summary of the chaTIty's main activities and achlevements
To further the above objects and vision. the cha¥ilYs main acbvities and achievemenis were as follows.
In 2022, London Huaxia Christian Charity has activety been invofved in the following aGlivib"es, aiming
for public benefits which are seLout in the Conslilulion of the charity..
We conts.nued providing online and in person (restarted from 20 Nov 20221 Sunday worship and
servi(*s to the public. including Sunday sch¢y)I for chiklren for ages 11-17 years old_
We held online prayer meetings every moming during weekdays and bible stLtdy group every evening
during weekdays.
We reestablished two different h￿n groups. indudin9 one youth hymn gTOUP.
We held the three baptism5 ser¥ices and allended a se￿Illia1 loi Young Students Sludy over￿eaS.
We purchased a church buildiw on the 26 Oct 2022 and started the refurbishtY)enl ai)d reiiL)%a11L)11.
All of the chafitls activitses during 2022 werg undertaken by volunleeis an<1 Ihe iharity
operate effecb'vely wlhoul their ettorts.
In planning the activities the Tru6tees have applied Ihe guidance on publity beiielil issued by the iliarily

Struclure. Gov•mance and Management
Board of Trvslees are responsibility for managing the Church internally and extemaly, •spwafy on
finance. human re￿UrCeS. safeguarding and risk management. The Board of Trustee9 have delegated
daity spirittTral administrative M?rk, such as mission, worship and Sunday Scho￿ to the Board of
De8u)ns. New tTuslees are recruited and appointed by the existing trustees.
.The Board of Trustees is the decision-making Ix)dy of the Church. The Board of Trustees meetirvJ can
be called when there are important resolutions to be made. We held Iwce meetings in 2021.
-The Board of Deacons undertakes daily spiritual administrative work. It is responsible to Board
Trustees.
.The Board of Deacons may assign works to teams to complete ministries. Teams are reporting to the
Board of Deacons
.The Board of Deats)n meetings can onty be hosted when more than two thirds of members attending
the meeting.
.The Board of Deacons shall make every effort to achieve a resolution approved by all deacons. In the
event of objection, the resolution is only be passed, then it approved by at least Iwo thirds of the
members. The voting shall be by secret balloL
The Board of Deacons meeting is held once every month to monitor the progress of ministries. The
meeting can only be attended by Deacon members. The detailed meeting minutes are checked and
signed by all Deacons.
Deacons members present their annual working plan and goals in July every year. and submit a
written report lo the Chairnan of the Board of Deacons in May in following year. The Chairman of the
Board of Deacons reports at the congregation meeting
Financlal review
During the church received general fund income of £41,640 {2021.'£63.553) and incurred general fund
expenditure of £33.331 12021: £15.683) resulting in a general fund SUTplus of £6,(M312021..£47,870}.
The restricted Buikling Fund raised a further £206.52612021'.£557,985) which was fulty expensed on
the purchase of the property. In addrtion. the charity received restricted income of £3,50012021.' NIL)
which remains in the restricted funds at the year end. As a result, the total surplus tor the year was
£182.738 (2021..£605,855) increasing Ihe charivs totsl funds by the saffle amount to £1,106,108
12021.£923,370}. The charities nel Cufrenl assels al the year end were £17,70812021.£923,370) of
which £3,500 is restricted for purpose.
Lond￿ Huaxia Christsan Church stsrted from Bible study group in 1997, then b8came the Fellowship of
Scholars. to the establishment of London Huaxia Christian Church in 2010. We had moved to six
different locations to host our Sunday S6rvice in last 24 years. Due lo various reslriclions in our
Pfevious place, we have to firmj new pL4ce foi Sunday services. Our whole congregation was moved by
Holy Spirit so the Board of Trustees decided to establish a chuich purchasing committee to promote
the church purcha5ing-related minislry. The Church received signtficanl donal¢ons for church
purchasing in 2021 and 2022.

Key risks and uncertaintles
The ¢harity Is exposed to various risks
be they operational, financial or reputational. The trustees
review the chariws activities regularty lo identify s￿nIfICant risks and, where Fts%ble, they 12ke
appropriate measures lo mitigate those risks.
Being aware of responsibiliknes of trustees for risk assessment. tntrslees review and evaluate the risks
asswaled with the charitys daily activities regularty. We intrc*Juced Safety Policy. Conflict of Interest
Policy, Complains Handling and Volunteer Policy. We will Pfoduce Risk Management Policy. Fire
Safety Policy and review all insurances. once the Church property purchase completes.
Plans for the future
The Board will focus on following ministrtes.-
We would like to encourage the congregation to attend physical Sunday services, so that the
congregation t￿Uld have more close relationship. In the meanNthile. online live stream Sunday seNces
will run in parallel wth physical Sunday servtces.
We realise the next generation is increasingly multKuKural and diverse in manner. We *ill aim to
young people together to hear Ihe gospel, lo experience knowing Jesus as their Lr)rd, Saviour and
friend and to rise up lo live out a lasting faith in Jesus.
We will engage in nexl generation development. A large number of Overseas St￿nts will wme to
study in UK. We would like to cooperate with UKAFC and Dallas Chinese FelkTrwship Church to i￿￿d
Chinese students to the Lord. equipping them to be disciples. Also. we wouhj like to ¢ooperat8 wilh
local church on youth ministry.
We will organise a chriskn.an conference and invite overseas speakers to provide leaching & twirvJ
exiurses.
As a Church we know we are part of the local community. We will work with k)cal community kn pm¥MJe
support to kKal residents.

The trustees are responsible for keeping proper accounting records that disclose reasonable
accuracy at any time the financial position of the charity and enable them lo ensure that the financial
statements compty vthh the Charities Act 2011 and the Charity (Accounts and Report5) Regulations
2008. They are also responsible for safeguarding the asset5 of the charity and hence for taking
