For the public benefit to promote the education (including social<br>and physical training) of young people, in particular school pupils<br>in Northumberland and surrounding counties<br>2. To help young people in Northumberland and surrounding<br>counties, especially but not exclusively through leisure time<br>activities, so as to develop their capabilities that they may grow to<br>full maturity as individuals and members of society.<br>3. To promote for the benefit of the inhabitants of Northumberland<br>and surrounding counties and the surrounding area the provision<br>of facilities for recreation or other leisure time occupation of<br>individuals who have need of such facilities by reason of their<br>youth, age, infirmity or disablement, financial hardship or social<br>and economic circumstances or for the public at large in the<br>interests of social welfare and with the object of improving  the<br>Condition of life of the said inhabitants|

||Summary of the main<br>achievements of the charity,<br>identifying the difference the<br>charity’s work has made to<br>the circumstances of its<br>beneficiaries and any wider<br>benefits to society as a<br>whole.|<br>Continued increase in the number of young people and<br>members of the local community who have taken part in<br>a residential experience.<br><br>Continued increase in the number of Astley CHS staff<br>and students using the facility.<br><br>Increased number of subsidised places offered to Pupil<br>Premium students at Astley CHS to enable them to<br>participate in residential experiences.<br><br>Significant improvement in facilities both indoor and<br>outdoor. Solar panels, new batteries, new wood store,<br>refurb of generator byre.<br><br>Gaining a stable financial footing to include contingency<br>funding in the event of unexpected emergency spending<br>which may be required.<br><br>Improved links with a variety of local groups.<br><br>**Milkhope was temporarily closed due to lockdown 23**<br>**March 2020 and access has been very limited until**<br>**March 2021.**|
