GOODNEWS ASSEMBLIES OF GOD TRUSTEES REPORT FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31 DECEMBER 2023
Charity Number: 1165 142
I present the Report for the year to 31 December 2023. God continue to assure us that He is in control and that things will be better than the year before. God also admonished us to sow for ourselves righteousness and we will reap mercy.
POSITIVE IMPACT OF THE PANDEMIC
As Romans 8:28 says ‘’For we know that all things work together for good for those who love The Lord, even to those who have been called according to HIS purpose’’ In spite of all the negative effects of the pandemic with its lockdowns and lack of physical fellowship; The LORD brought a new wave of fellowship via the online service. With this new wage, brethren outside Manchester were able to join us for the first time online. We were able to fellowship with people from Russia, Eswatini-in Southern Africa and Nigeria which were all outside the UK. In the UK, we also had people from Leeds and London also fellowshipping with us. All these wouldn’t have been possible if it has not been the pandemic.
During this year, the online service still continued and extended to others

YOUTH AWAKENING CONFERENCE
Huraayyy! We have started planning towards next year’s YAC 2024 after a long break due to the Covid. The theme chosen is 2 Timothy 1:7
‘For God has not given us the Spirit of fear, but of power, and of love and of a sound mind’
LOOKING FORWAD
We plan to encourage the youth to attend the diaspora youth annual convention to have exposure to other youth from different cities in the UK and the diaspora.
We are also worked on our youth conference trying to concentrate on the youth around Manchester with its environs. We are planning to support other youth who are not necessarily Church goers to also benefit from the good work the church is doing.
We still continued with our plan to engage more on the youth, as they are the future leaders. The more their lives are better shaped the better for the future of our country. JESUS IS THE ANSWER.
