We are gratefvl for the many hours vdunteers have spent lo provide the variety

plenty of activtties. We o)nlinue to enQ￿rage parents to become volunteers and

Our Facebook wofile is regularly UFrfJaled.
Our financial positK)n remained healthy al the end of 2025 but with a small
reduction li reserves. This was mainly due to increased capitation and a
rnismalch in liming of raceipl of funds for KIJ and disbursement. Our Gift Aid
daim was slightly lower n 2025 to P￿¥￿US years, fdlowing a dip in subs

Financial review
The Group's policy on reserves is to hold sutricient resources to continue the
tharitable activities of the group should income and fundraising activrttes fall
short. The Group Tnjstee Board considers that ihe group should hold a sum
equivalent to 12 months running costs. circa £11.500 on an income basis.
Brief sL*ement of the
charlty's pollcy on raserves
The Group hald reserves of more Ihan £34,Crf)J 8gainsl this al year 8nd. This is
above Ihe level required for 0￿ralIng expenses bul represenls a small dip from
2024. This was in line with expeclati()ns in 2024. The high level of reserves is
explained by fund rahsing in prKff y6ats lo financ8 the expansion of Sunnyside
hall (which is part owned by the Group) to allow it to b& used by Ihe Beavers and
Cubs as well as the Scouts.
