b. Matters arising from the Minutes: Parish share was re-negotiated and went down slightly after meetings to discuss this. This may well need looking at again. There are no plans to move back to 10.30 service and not likely to happen now Steph has to cover two churches. There have been some services using bread rather than wafers. This will be discussed by the PCC now we have a Vicar.

3. Electoral Roll Officer’s Report – Raynor Brown thanked Jane Heywood for helping prepare the completely new electoral roll. There were 69 on the old electoral roll and 52 on the new and 5 new additions.

4. Financial Report
- a. Treasurer’s Report – prepared by Treasurer Sandy Shum and Revd Steph, independently examined by Gordon Clark
- b. Revd Steph explained how the parish share and gift aid were presented in the accounts. CAP had now also been taken off the main accounts and £7,2393.51 transferred to Antioch. Julie MacCaulay had been employed to run job-club but is now employed by Antioch not St Andrew. She is pausing that to concentrate on her work at Emmanuel. Members of the church are still supporting that, which is an individual decision. There is a deficit in the accounts because of this and the fact that overall giving has gone down, plus we had a lot of extra utility bills and the cost of the repairs to the boiler last year. This year’s repair is to be claimed on the insurance. Sandy was thanked for all her hard work as church treasurer. There were some questions about the church grounds and fees: could the gardener come more often than once a month and strim? PCC needs a discussion to manage the contract, payments and what work needs doing in the churchyard, such as trees self-seeding and the frequency of visits. They will discuss this at a future meeting.

5. Churchwardens’ Report: (In APCM Report Booklet) Great vote of thanks to them

issues with the building, including the window and re-decorating. There are also slates missing from the roof. It has proved to be difficult to get people out to look at the roof, but this is being worked on.

8. Safeguarding Officer’s Report : Jane Mann read out the church safeguarding policies as Alison Young, Safeguarding Officer, was out with the children. Signed copies of these are on display in the church porch.

9. Reports from different church groups & organisations (In APCM Report Booklet) Revd Steph thanked everyone for all their help over the year and for all the work they had done to keep the church going during the interregnum, as shown by all the reports. She asked for donations for Revd Bob May who is leaving his position of Curate to be given to Sally, Raynor or Steph. His last Sunday will be 29[th] June when it is hoped to have a farewell lunch then after church.

Here is our current MAP plan based on the one agreed by the PCC at the 2024 APCM:

Buildings for ministry:
a. Keep the building in as good order as the PCC can during the vacancy, i.e.
- i. Tidying up of within the building
- ii. Keeping on top of the graveyard
- iii. Painting the porchway and renewing the notice board.
- iv. Put a screen near the creche area for parents
- v. Replace the kitchen unit doors
Grow homegroups/life groups/discipleship → Pastoral Care
a. Pastoral care could be developed under this area. There is a new team including the two Pastoral ALMs moving forward on this.
Midweek All age Service: Grow more leaders and the team to continue this ministry. Already a number of people have stepped up to enable this to happen. Focus on growing this congregation and reaching out into the community.
Children’s and Young people’s ministry :
a. Sunday morning children’s work developed over the past year, currently Alison, Jeanette and Linda. This needs to be supported, developed and encouraged
b. Continue to support Sarah Taylor and her team in their weekly meetings with the Youth Group and encourage development of their faith.

Vicar's reflections on God at work in the life of St Andrew’s

As I continued to settle in and find my feet during 2025, I have continued to be very grateful for the very many people who play their part, often in quiet and unseen ways, to build up our church family and serve our community. Everyone has a part to play in the body of Christ and the rich variety of who we are and what we do is something to celebrate. Many thanks to you all – everything you do adds up to our church giving glory to God here in Radcliffe.

The PCC had an away day at Barrow Bridge Church in July, spending time in worship and prayer and reflecting about where God may be leading St Andrew’s. Ideas that came out of that day include the focus on giving and generosity around harvest, which led to several people increasing their planned giving, and the Bible Course. Other ideas are still in development. As I reviewed my notes of the day to write this report, I noticed that one of the reflections from our prayer time was “looking forward to a day when we need more tables at 3.45”. We have recently moved from three tables to four, so we look forward to God continuing to answer that prayer!

The week before the away day, we bid a sad farewell to Rev Bob May, as he completed his curacy. Bob served the church tirelessly, not only through his ministry at Sunday services but in many other ways, including leading the teams at Wiggle Tots and the 3.45 service, on the buildings team and the men’s group. Bob has now been licensed to Christ Church, Ainsworth, so it is great still to come across him at Mission Community events.

Towards the end of the year, I was surprised to be asked if a second year curate could come for a six-month placement to broaden his experience. I was delighted to welcome Rev Craig Giles back to St Andrew’s at the beginning of Advent to begin his placement, during which he is also serving at Christ Church, Walshaw. Craig’s first few weeks were overshadowed by the sudden death of his brother just before he was due to start, but Craig was determined to contribute as much as he could through Advent and Christmas, and he continues to go from strength to strength.

During 2025 we conducted seven funerals in church and at the crematorium, including Joyce Bradshaw and Dorothy Costello, and held two short services to

inter ashes in the garden of remembrance. We also baptised two children during the morning service. We read the banns for a few couples, but no one has chosen to get married at St Andrew’s. These ministries continue to be an important opportunity to minister to people at these key points in their lives.

During the summer, we began a new partnership with the Radcliffe Branch of the Royal British Legion. They now use St Andrew’s Vicarage as a base for the services they offer to support local veterans. In return, they have helped in many ways with maintenance of the vicarage and garden as well as making a donation to church funds. Many of us enjoyed the barbecue they hosted at the vicarage in the summer and their Christmas children’s party.

Another theme that emerged from the PCC away day was a greater emphasis on prayer. In September we held a day of prayer, with several people taking part from home as well as spending time praying in church, and launched a new monthly prayer meeting on Monday evenings. Attendance at these meetings has been disappointing, so we are considering changing the time or day. If you have any thoughts, please let me know.

On Sunday 30[th] November we celebrated St Andrew’s Day with a special service, with worship led by the Ark Band, balloons and bubbles! We invited people to return to St Andrew’s or join us for the first time for this special service, which was a lot of fun. We also enjoyed a quiz night with pasties and chips the night before.

Throughout the year our faithful church family have continued to gather for worship in person and online, soldiering on again through another cold Christmas after the second flood of the boiler room in two winters. Despite this, we welcomed many people to our Christmas services, including several new faces.

Looking back, St Andrew’s has been through a difficult few years, with more people leaving than joining. But we are still here, worshipping our Great Big God who loves us and gave his life for us, serving one another and our community. I believe that God is calling us now to look forward and focus on the green shoots of what he is doing now and what he will do next. There is so much to be grateful for in 2025. I look forward to seeing what God will do in 2026, especially as we respond to his call to open a new community hub in the vicarage aiming to respond to the needs of our neighbours.

Wardens’ Report

Another year gone, and a trying one in some respects. Many things to be thankful though , including the lovely church family that we have and each and everyone of you takes a part in that.

Once again we had 2 ( though very different) lovely leavers services.

Welcomed new families for baptisms, the baptism pool has been hired out numerous times .

We held fund raisers, a much enjoyed quiz and chippy night, our always looked forward to Oasis Christmas craft fair.

The veterans welcomed the church family and the community to various events throughout the year.

Think I will bypass the Christmas services held in church due to my nightmare and sleepless nights returning again!!!

Last but not least the every growing children’s and youth groups, with the youth going from strength to strength and feeling confident and relaxed about taking part in the Sunday services (and Christmas) to sing and do readings.

New year brought new beginnings for me and my family to do the big move to Cornwall. After being at St Andrews and much involved with church over the 24 years that I was there in many ways it was with a heavy heart that I left somewhere that I called ‘home’ for so long.

Gift Aid Report 2026 I continue to collate Gift Aid and Small donations contributing towards our Parish Share and would like to take this opportunity to thank everybody for your donations.

PCC Secretary

The PCC has continued to meet every other month in the Vicarage, less frequently than previously due to the Vicar being responsible for St Andrew’s and Christ Church Walshaw, but this has not affected discussion or decisionmaking in any way. Meetings have generally been well-attended and always quorate, despite there being fewer members now due to the fall in the Electoral Roll numbers which means we only have 9 elected members and 7 ex-officio members. It is very heartening that this lovely group of people are so committed that they regularly attend, despite being very busy in their nonchurch lives. We were sad to lose Elizabeth Guite who stood down as Deanery Synod representative, as did Linda Oldfield, but the latter was elected as a regular PCC member so happily, we did not lose her valuable contributions. Readers are now in a special category and can choose whether to be members of the PCC. This year, Canon Jane Mann, Steve Mawhinney and Sue Hampson have served on the PCC. Mike Vine is still a licenced Reader but has chosen not to be on the PCC.

The PCC have continued to work together to ensure we have been able to meet the challenges of serving the church, and have greatly appreciated the input from Revd Steph Mawhinney as Vicar in her first full year. We have missed the input from Revd Bob May, who has gone from here to serve at Christ Church Ainsworth, but are delighted that Revd Craig Giles has recently joined us on placement and has been able to attend meetings and aid discussion.

We continue to open meetings in prayer and conclude with a very short service of Celtic Compline, which is appreciated by all.

Thank you to every single member of the PCC for their prayer, support and contributions, and particularly to Revd Steph as she chairs us in a calm yet authoritative manner and ensures everyone has their say.

Safeguarding

The safety of everyone who is involved at St Andrew’s, and especially children and vulnerable adults, is a priority for all involved in leadership. No safeguarding concerns have been raised during the during the past year. Alison Young is our parish safeguarding officer. Rev Stephanie Mawhinney is the DBS Recruiter and Verifier.

Details of the Parish Safeguarding policy can be found under the Safeguarding section of the parish website.

Safeguarding is a standing agenda item at all PCC meetings. The PCC works in line with the Church of England safeguarding policy and practice guidance. The PCC has complied with the duty under Section 5 of the Safeguarding and clergy discipline measure 2016. The PCC has adopted the Church of England safeguarding policy and practice guidance for the recruitment of ex-offenders.

Safeguarding, including our joint responsibility as a cogregation was the focus of our worship on the 16[th] November 2025, Safeguarding Sunday.

Clergy, Churchwardens, children’s leaders, and Parish Safeguarding Officer have all completed Safeguarding Leadership training, as required. Other members of . the PCC have completed the Basic and Foundation Courses for Safeguarding

Deanery Synod

St Andrew’s falls within the Deanery of Bury and Rossendale in the Diocese of Manchester. Deanery Synod is an opportunity for representatives of each of the Anglican churches in this area to meet to share positive stories and receive specific updates from Diocesan officials and others. There were 3 normal meetings held during 2025 in May (St Mary’s Hawkshaw), September (St Margaret’s Prestwich), and November (St Mary’s, Rawtenstall). In addition to this, an Early Years day conference was held on Saturday 8th November. Rev Donna Williams (Area Dean) chaired the September meeting, and Kath Pollard (Lay Chair) chaired the May and November meetings.

Each meeting has a ‘main topic’. In May, Rev Phil Cansdale introduced himself as the new Director of Mission and Ministry. Phil led a Bible study on Ezekiel 27 : 1- 14 – the valley of the dry bones, posing questions for group discussions. In September Canon Anne Edwards gave a presentation on Clergy and Lay wellbeing and in November Abby Clephane-Wilson spoke about safeguarding.

All clergy are expected to attend Deanery Synod meetings, and St Andrew’s is entitled to elect two representatives to attend as well. These people also automatically become members of the PCC. We do not currently have anyone to take these places. If you would be interested, ask someone to nominate you for election at the APCM or talk to me to find out more about what is involved.

Mission Partners

As a PCC we continued to financially support Open Doors, CAP (Christians Against Poverty) and Mission Direct in the first half of 2025. However, due to the increased difficulty in paying the Parish Share, in the latter half of the year, these payments were suspended and the PCC is currently in discussion about re-instating payments and changing some, to ensure local, national and international charitable support is ongoing.

Building & Grounds

2025 saw slow progress with improving St Andrew’s buildings and grounds. A group of volunteers came together to give the church a Spring Clean when it was looking a bit grubby after several weeks with no heating. Many thanks to Raynor Brown who has stepped down as our regular cleaner due to other commitments, and to Anya Taylor who has taken on cleaning both the church and the vicarage.

Some work has been done to repair the roof. We have obtained quotes for repairing the window in the South Transept as well as investigating the need for further high level repairs to the roof and masonry. We are now applying for a faculty and grants to enable the work to go ahead.

Several volunteers have put a lot of work into improving the grounds, cutting back overgrown shrubs, planting flowers and weeding. Brian Blount decided it was time to step down from cutting the grass and we now have a new contract in place for regular maintenance in the churchyard. Following a professional tree survey, four dead or dying trees were removed and a hawthorn tree was pruned.

We were devastated that after a month of rain our cellar filled with water once again in December, taking the boiler out of action for Christmas AGAIN! The repair was covered by our insurance, and the damage turned out not to be as severe as last time, but it was clear that further investigation into the underlying cause was needed. The new pump installed last year to clear water from the underground spring in the cellar continued to operate throughout. A leak in the water main has been repaired and we have been investigating the drain outside the cellar. This was found to be blocked and work is ongoing to investigate the cause and get it cleared.

Sunday StAR Group

Star takes place twice a month on Sunday morning during the 10 am service. We usually take the children out before the readings and and return for either communion or the last hymn depending on which service is taking place. We introduce ourselves and either share some news or answer a question related to the topic of the session. There is then either a Bible reading or a Bible story. During our activity we discuss the reading, listen to the young people’s responses to the topic and think about what we can learn from the story We colour, cut and stick to create a picture or an item to show everyone in church and to take home. We have a display of some of our activities at the back of church.

We plan for up to 12 young people and usually have about 6 children aged from young ones, who come with a parent, up to secondary school youngsters. Jeanette Robinson, Sheila Smith, Linda Oldfield and Alison Young are on the rota to lead StAR in pairs.

Worship Group

The worship team remains the same with Diana, Jane and myself (and various people helping out whenever needed). We have managed to introduce quite a few new songs this year which is quite refreshing and keeps us on our toes!! As always, we would love to have live music but apart from Jane's violin we are still singing to the backing tracks.

Mission Community

The mission community consists of 8 churches.

St Andrews, Hillock; St Mary’s, Radcliffe; St Thomas and St John’s, Radcliffe; Christ Church, Ainsworth; Emmanuel Church, Radcliffe; St Andrews Church, Radcliffe; All Saints, Stand; St Geroge, Unsworth.

There are two groups, the mission community task group and the prayer and spirituality group, each group meets every 2 months.

The prayer group has organised a number of joint initiatives across the year including Lent and Advent prayers on Zoom, a morning of reflection with prayer stations in Advent, blessing of the backpacks before the new school year and a prayer walks across the mission community area. The group also produces a monthly prayer diary for the churches.

The mission community task group has a number of initiatives encouraging churches to be greener, including a number of recycling programmes. The team shares resources to assist in helping the churches grow and nurture new Christians.

There has been a joint celebration service “Bee Inspired” which was well attended and a further one is planned for 20[th] April – “Bee Joyful” which will be a songs of praise inspired service, with each church choosing a favourite hymn.

We would love it if more people could get involved with these two groups to join in the mission community vision and share resources.

Baptisms, Thanksgivings, Weddings and Funerals

Thursday 3.45 AAW

Our 3.45 service offers café style worship with plenty for children to engage with on a Thursday afternoon. We begin with refreshments and an activity, which might be a game or craft, share good news, say prayers, sing songs and learn the actions from YouTube videos, listen to a reading from the Bible and spend some time thinking about what it means. We meet every week during term time, with communion once a month. For some families this is their only church. Other families also worship on Sunday, either at St Andrew’s or elsewhere.

This pattern of intentionally intergenerational worship gives families an opportunity to worship God together, with grandparents, parents and children all engaging alongside one another. Meeting after school also gives an alternative to those who find it difficult to get to church on Sunday, with so many competing commitments.

Over the past year, the 3.45 service has grown in numbers, with a typical week now seeing 10 adults and 10 children. We have also grown in fellowship. The weeks when we were forced to meet in the vicarage because it was too cold in the unheated church turned out to be a blessing. Squeezing into a smaller space made it easier to chat with people we didn’t know so well, and now that we are back in church we have changed the table layout to try to keep this going. We love to welcome new people.

We tend to follow a similar pattern to the Sunday sermons in our teaching, so during 2025 as well as celebrating Easter, Pentecost, Harvest and Christmas we had series on faith, communion and the life of David. We also adapted the Bible Course for our format.

We were very sad to lose Bob from the team when he left St Andrew’s. Steph and Steve have now joined Alison and Linda in leading and planning the service, continuing the established pattern of meeting beforehand to set up and prepare and staying afterwards to reflect and plan for the following week.

Wiggle Tots and Wiggle Worship

Wiggle (our multi-coloured caterpillar who lives in a box in the Chancel) is a firm favourite with the under 4s. We start at 9.00am with an hour when the children are encouraged to play together and interact with one another, with access to a wide variety of toys and an endless supply of buttered toast. Meanwhile the adults who come with them (a mixture of parents, grandparents and child minders) are made welcome with hot drinks and chat. At 10.00am we all tidy up together and prepare to march down the aisle to one of our regular songs to take part in Wiggle Worship sitting on cushions in the Chancel. Each week we have a set pattern of worship that lasts about 15-20 minutes including songs, prayers and a story from the Bible.

Sadly at the end of the summer term, as well as saying a sad farewell to Rev Bob, it was also goodbye to several of our regular older children, who left to start nursery or school. Numbers were very low when we started back in September, and continued low throughout the term. However, the faithful team kept going, believing that there is a need in Radcliffe for groups for babies and toddlers. The lower numbers made it possible to move into the vicarage while we couldn’t use the church, rather than having to stop for several weeks as we did last year. The beginning of 2026 has seen a few new people start coming regularly, so we are now averaging 8-10 children plus adults.

A huge thank you to Sheila Smith, who stepped down from the Wiggle team at the end of 2025 as her health was making it very difficult. We miss her creative story telling and wish her well in her other ministries. We are blessed that Elizabeth Guite, Sheila Roberts and Maureen Fawcett continue to play their respective parts in the Wiggle team. Rev Steph

Oasis

We are very thankful to have the use of the vicarage, where we meet every Tuesday to enjoy fellowship and knit and natter and learn new crafts. At present we have 13 regulars, 5 of which are non church people. Again in November we had a very successful Christmas Fare, raising £731.50 for the Building Fund.

We were also happy to help the British Legion making lots of poppies for Remembrance day. Sandra Rowbottom and Margaret Livesey

Men’s Talk

The Men's Group enjoyed another year supporting one another, socializing and working together to serve the church.

As has quickly become tradition, Armaan's Indian restaurant was a focal point for communing over Cobra and Naan. A meal out in April was followed by another in June, where we said a fond farewell to Bob as he moved on from St Andrew's having completed his curacy, along with a big thank you for his many years leading the group. Bob left by giving everyone a copy of the book Rough Diamonds by Anthony Delaney, along with his best wishes.

October saw a Saturday session in the Church building and the graveyard working through a list of much needed jobs, followed by some fish and chips from Jacks. A productive and fun day was had by all.

The group is now being led by a team of Mike Vine, Garry Taylor, and me. Any man with any kind of connection to St Andrew's is warmly invited to join our WhatsApp group and come along to any of our events. We are always open to new ideas for things to do, so if you have any, please do get in touch.

Schools’ Ministry

We have continued our links with St Andrew’s CofE Primary School, who come to the church at the end of each term for special services to celebrate Christmas and Easter and a service for the Year 6 leavers in summer. As it is a church school, the church is able to nominate people to serve as foundation governors. Our current foundation governors are Danny Downes, who is also the chair of governors, Fiona Trewartha, Matthew Graham and Garry Taylor. During 2025 we were joined by Rev Blayze White, a local Methodist minister whose children have recently joined the school.

Steph is also a governor of the school ex-officio as vicar of St Andrew’s. She leads collective worship in the school every other Tuesday and visits the school at other times to observe and contribute to their RE curriculum. Revd Steph

Equipping the believers (discipleship)

Youth Group

We are still meeting every term time Tuesday in the vicarage. We have grown in the numbers of youth attending.

We have studied the Bible using Six Beats for youth from the Bible Society which helped us learn more about the Bible and Jesus. We have also followed what’s been taught in church. We sang at the Christmas Carol Service. We have read scripture, created things, danced, sang and played games.

We now have six Leaders and I am very thankful for Sandy, Jane, Steph, Sue and Craig who help to support and lead the sessions.

Youth recently completed anonymous questionnaires to get feedback and to see what they want to get from the group. Their responses were very encouraging and they all expressed a keen interest to learn more about Jesus.

It has been amazing to watch how much the youth have grown as a group and individually, how they feel safe enough to ask difficult questions. They support and pray for each other and also pray for friends. I am grateful for each and every one of them.

Homegroup has remained very much the same with the same 5 people regularly attending on Wednesday morning from 10am to 12noon, meeting at

3 different houses. The biggest change is that leading the group is now divided between myself and Sheila Roberts on alternate weeks. We have covered quite a few topics over the last 12 months but are currently studying 'Living a Life of Joy' - much needed in our world at the present time.

Our Thursday night house group had a good start to the year. We followed the passages from the previous Sunday each week which helped us have a better understanding of the word.

Unfortunately, at the end of January 2026, we had to make the difficult decision to suspend our meetings on line as people had other commitments that affected weekly attendance. We do still however, have a WhatsApp group which communicates where people can share news, ask for prayer and support and share bible verses. This has been such a positive addition to our group in the past. Group members have felt loved and cared for and prayers have been answered as we pray together for group members situations. Please continue to uphold us in your prayers as we seek the future of our group. Thank you to all our group members for your years of commitment to our group, please continue to share and ask for prayer and support as we navigate what God wants for our future!

Bible Warriors – at Diana’s house (moveable, but often on Wednesday evening)

We renamed our group from Bible Babes to Bible Warriors as we are now no longer a purely female group. After a bit of a hiatus we started meeting at Diana’s house (thank you Diana) regularly every fortnight so that we could use her tv to study the Bible course which much of the rest of the church were doing. We found it very informative and interesting. We are currently continuing with a series of studies on angels and there are a faithful core of 6 of us with others attending when they can. We very much value this time of fellowship, bible study and prayer and would strongly recommend this to anyone who is not in a home group.

Growing Leaders

Leading and Preaching Team (L&P)

We are blessed at St Andrew’s to have four excellent lay readers (Mike Vine, Jane Mann, Sue Hampson and Steve Mawhinney) and two authorised lay ministers (Sheila Smith and Alison Young) to lead and preach at services in church. We started 2025 with a sermon series on Faith, then after the Easter season there was a short series on Holy Communion followed by a look at the life of King David through the summer. During Autumn our sermons followed the Bible Course, which was also available for small group study in the week. We have also celebrated particular Sundays, including Back to School Sunday and Safeguarding Sunday as well as the traditional festivals.

Readers

2025 was another busy and exciting year for us all, but being close to the centre of things has made it more so for us as we read, lead, preach regularly. We currently have four Readers (Sue, Steve, myself and Jane). For all of us there are continuing development days organised by the diocese, coupled with our on-going experience of the Holy Spirit who continues to shape both us and everyone who is a believer!

Although our visible roles as Readers centre on the services, there are other roles we fill, including on the PCC. We could not continue with our ministry without the prayer and support we receive from everybody in church, for which we take this opportunity to say “Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.”

As you read the APCM reports, you will be aware of the wide and diverse nature of the roles that support God’s work here at Saint Andrew. If you feel called to any of them, please feel free to talk to any of us. We never have enough people to cover the work, so please respond if the Lord is calling (Matthew 9:38).

Authorised Lay Ministry (ALM)

Our authorised lay ministers continue their valuable ministry in their various specialisms. Sarah Taylor leads our youth ministry, about which you can read more in its own report. Alison Young continues to lead and give talks at our 3.45 Thursday service for families as well as teaching our StAR group and leading occasional Sunday services. Diana Harrison and Raynor Brown lead on pastoral care.

As well as leading worship, Sheila Smith has been a vital part of the Wiggle Tots team for the last few years, creatively telling stories to the families who come. Sadly, towards the end of 2025 Sheila decided to step down from this role as her health was making it increasingly difficult. She has responded to God’s call to increase her commitment to Emmanuel Community Church, but continues to serve at St Andrew’s on alternate Sundays.

Notes tothe Acc 1. Parish Share: We originally agreed to pay£36.750 Parish Share in 2025. It became clearthat payingthis amount in fullwould lead to a significant budget deficitthat would exhaust our reserves. Steph and Sandy had a meetingwith the Diocese on 16Th July 2025. at which point itwas agreed that we would not make anyfurther payments. and our revised parish share would be the total of the amount paid so farand anytax reclaimed in 2025. The accounts show thatwe paid £11.800 in Parish Share, butthe total accrued to our account with the Diocese also includes 26.438 tax recLaimed. £700 payment forthe encouragement scheme for meeting the expected payment schedule the previous year, and an overpayment of £2.799 in 2024 credited to our account in 2025. Ourtotal Parish Share contribution was therefore £21.737. Since the Diocese handles gift aid claims on our behalf. the tax reclaimed never passes through our bank account. 2. Charitable giving: Standing orders of £100 a month to CAP. Open Doors and Mission Direct were stopped at the end ofseptember 2025 due to th8 forecast deficit.
