Likethepreviousyearhallactivitieswere massivelydisruptedbythepandemic.During lockdownthehallwas,ofcourse,completely closed.Whenlimitedre�openingwas permittedsomehiringresumed,butvery slowlyandmanygroupsdecidednottoresume untilSeptemberafterthesummerholidays.In theeventwelostpermanentlyourbiggest singlehirerwhodecidednottoresume operations,butdidgaintwonewregularusers. Therecreationgroundcontinuedtobevery popularandwewerealsoabletohostan autumncaravanevent. Also,onthepositivesideweheldoneRural Touringevent:anoutdoorproductionby‘The LastBaguette’titledArthur:StoryofaKingand intendedforallthefamily.Fortunately,the weatherwasexcellentandwehadaverygood turnouttosupporttheevent.

Financial Review

Review of the charity’s financial position at the end of the period	Para 1.21	Onceagainthecharityhadastrongyear financially,withgovernmentpandemicsupport grantsmorethanoffsettingthelossofhire income.Inconsequencewewereableto continuetobuildupfundsinpreparationfor progressingthePavilionReplacementProject oncetheoutlookbecomesclearer.
