ÈLP THE MENTAL HEALTH ¢HARITY Charity Commission Redgrave Court Merton Road Merseyside L20 7HS 2 September 2024 Dear Sirs Re Trustees Report- Year Ended 31rt Duember 2023 With the easing of COVID donations fell from £55,055 in 2022 to £53,714 in 2023, the donations to other charilies who provide services in the field of mental health and direct donations to people affected or 5ufferiTJg from mental illnes5 imcreased from £5,930 in 2022 to £6440 in 2023. The ehariiy also provided direct services io people (and their families) suffering from mental illness on a day-to-day basis al their charity shop. Thi5 assjsiance includes, personal counselling, along Wlth donations of clothes, furniture and other goods. The charity produced 2n excess of £16,386 for the year ended 31 December 2023, part of this surplus will be used in 2024 to continue and expand the direct services to people (and their familie5} suffering from mental illness and its effects. We hope the charity can grow in 2024, $0 that we can provide even more help to those suffering due to mental illness.
