|**Summary of the objects of**<br>**the charity set out in its**<br>**governing document**<br>**Summary of the main**<br>**activities undertaken for the**<br>**public benefit in relation to**<br>**these objects (include within**<br>**this section the statutory**<br>**declaration that trustees**<br>**have had regard to the**<br>**guidance issued by the**<br>**Charity Commission on**<br>**public benefit)**|(1)  To advance education for the benefit of the poor, the<br>underprivileged and the general public by means of, but not<br>exclusively, the provision or the assistance in the provision of<br>educational activities and facilities, such as nurseries and the<br>provision a supplementary school  for the benefit of said<br>persons;<br>(2) To relieve financial hardship, distress and suffering among poor<br>people, victims of natural and man-made disasters and other people in<br>need, by means of, but not exclusively, making grants or loans for<br>providing or paying for food and such services and facilities for the<br>benefit of the said persons;<br>(3) To advance the religion of Islam, by means of, but not exclusively,<br>promoting the teachings and tenets of Islam, assistance in the<br>provision of facilities for Islamic worship and education, in accordance<br>with the teachings of the Qur’aan and the Sunnah of the Prophet<br>Muhammad (PBUH) as interpreted by the Ahle Sunnah Wal Jamaah<br>school of thought;<br>(4) To provide or assist in the provision of facilities in the interests of<br>social welfare for recreation or other leisure time occupation of<br>individuals who have need of such facilities by reason of their youth,<br>age infirmity or disability, financial hardship or social circumstances<br>with the object of improving their conditions of life.|

||During the period, the trustees continued to search for a suitable<br>premises and the right planning permission to establish as a mosque<br>and madrassa but due to the after effects of Covid-19 and the closure<br>of the bank account, this was not progressed during this year. The<br>trustees have made several efforts to open a bank account and in the<br>coming year this will succeed and allow to transfer the assets from<br>previous bank and carry out further fundraising. Trustees provided<br>religious guidance to 30 members of the public on a monthly basis via<br>phone guidance. This covered subjects such as Tafsir of the Quran,<br>Hadeeth, Aqeedah and Fatwas on various Islamic matters.The<br>trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity<br>Commission on public benefit and are satisfied that the charity is<br>benefitting the public.|

## Section D                      Achievements and performance 

**Summary of the main** During the period, the trustees continued to search for a suitable **achievements of the charity** premises and the right planning permission to establish as a **during the year** mosque and madrassa but due to the after effects of Covid-19 and the closure of the bank account, this was not progressed during this year.
