## **PURPOSE OF THE FOUNDATON** 

The objective of the Foundation is to support clinical pharmacy education in sub-Saharan Africa and other activities which contribute to the improvement of public health by: 

- Paying registration fees and/or living expenses of pharmacy undergraduate students 

- Contributing to equipment; educational material, computers, lab equipment 



- Facilitating academic liaison with the provision of virtual lectures 

- As the Foundation develops, this will be done with contributions from UK pharmacists who participate in the Foundation. 

## **2022** 

In 2022. the Foundation continued working with the Pharmacy Department, College of Medicine, Kamuzu University of Health Sciences (Malawi), The University of Botswana School of Pharmacy and Addis Ababa University College of Health Sciences, Department of Pharmacy. 

The Foundation continued sponsorship of two students at the University of Botswana in Gaborone, two at the University of Malawi in Blantyre and supported three at the University of Addis Ababa. 

The Foundation made a contribution for equipment at batu hospital in Ethiopia
