## **SUMMARY** 

Expenditure was £ £12,078.99. There was no additional income. 

## **PURPOSE OF THE FOUNDATON** 

The objective of the Foundation is to support pharmacy education in subSaharan Africa by: 

   - Paying registration fees and/or living expenses of pharmacy undergraduate students 

   - Donate equipment; educational material, books and computers. 

   - Facilitating academic liaison with the provision of e-lectures 

- As the Foundation develops, this will be done with contributions from UK pharmacists and other health care professionals who participate in the Foundation. 

## **2020** 

In 2020, the Foundation worked with the Pharmacy Department, College of Medicine, Kamuzu University of Health Sciences (Malawi), The University of Botswana School of Pharmacy and Addis Ababa University College of Health Sciences, Department of Pharmacy. 

The Foundation continued sponsorship of two students at the University of Botswana in Gaborone, two at the University of Malawi in Blantyre and supported three at the University of Addis Ababa. 

The Foundation donated the “Rachel” device and tablets five to Wala High School in Chiradzulu, Malawi and is conducting a trial to measure the benefit to students.
