The Bury U3A is a democratic, self-funding, self help organization that provide all types of leisure activities for retired or semi-retired people at minimum cost.It provides opportunities for members to share learned experiences and to pursue creative and leisure activities by making use of the self learned knowledge and skills of their members.
Objects: The Advancement Of Education And, In Particular, The Education Of Older People And Those Who Are Retired From Full Time Work, By All Means Including Associated Activities Conducive To Learning And Personal Development In The Area Of Benefit.
