The Charity is a member of Early Years Wabe8.
We work clty6ely and attess training and advice from EAS, Flying Start,
INelsh Govemment. We are inspected biannually by Care Inspectorate
Wales and a joint inspection is carned out every 44 y8ars by CIW and
ESTYN.
All trustees give their time voluntarily and re¢eNe no remuneration or other
beneffts.
Trustees regularfy review major risks and ensure that effective systems
arKI procedures are in Pla￿ to Klentrfy, assess, and manage them,
safeguarding the ¢harity's assets and operations.

Tiddlers continue to operate as a registered Gharyty, providing high-quality
eady education and care for chiklren aged 24 years. Our activities are
deS￿ned to meet the developmental needs of each child through a play-
based, thild-led approach aligned wrth the Curriculum for Wales and
underpinned by Froeb8lian principles. We offer a nurturing and inclusive
environment that supp)rts ¢hiklren'$ leaming, health, and v￿11-being,
ensuring they are pr8par8d for school and lifelong ieaming.
We deliver Flying Start, Early Years Education, and ￿aParOUnd care
sessions that are accessible and affNdable to families in our communty.
Through regular engagement with parents, local services, and specialist
agencies, we support children wtlh addrtional needs and work

This year, Tiddlers has continued to strengthen its reputation for
delivering exceptional early education and care, providing meaningful,
authentic experiences that nurture children's holistic development,
wellbeing, and sense of belonging. Our commitment to child￿ntred,
Froebelian Practi￿ and the principles of the Curriculum for Wales has
ensured that chiklren are supported to become ambitious. capable
leamers who are confKlent, creative, and connected to their community
and the natural world.
Key achievements this year include:
Outstandlng Inspectlon outcomes: Tiddlers recently underwent
a joint inspection by Estyn and Care Inspectorate Wales {ClW),
receiving the highest possible judgements, with Excellent
outcomes acfOSS all areas inspected. This recognition reflects
the dedicatson, professionalism, and passion of the entire team
and valKlates the highqualrty experiences and care provided for
children and families.
High*uality professional leamlng and devolopmont: Staff
have engaged in a wide range of professional leaming
opportunrties, ensuring practice remains current, retlective, and
informed by the latest research and best practice in early
childhood education. Ongoing training has further deepened
practrtioners, understanding of Froebelian principles, child
development, and the Curriculum for Wales, enhancing the quality
of teaching, leaming, and care throughout the setting.

strong progress across all developmental pathways, supported

Parents engage in fundraising and donate plants, planters, seeds, soil,
fruit. vegetables, and rerjpes. They are actively engaged in their child's
journey. Children take home produce that they have grown to share with
their families.
All fundraising is used towards enhancing the children's play and leaming
whilst providing them with beautiful surroundings and a sense of
belonging.
Tiddlers does not currently hold significant investments. Any surplus
funds are managed prudently in line with the charity's commitment to
financial sustainabilty. Should investments be considered in the future,
the trustees will ensure that an ethical investment policy is adopted,
aligning with the charity's values and commttment to the well-being of
children, families, and the ￿der ¢ommunty.

**of report** As the charity trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”). 

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed all the applicable  Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act. 

## **Independent examiner's statement** 

I have completed my examination.  I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect,: 

- the accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the Act; or 

- the accounts did not accord with the accounting records; or 

- the accounts did not comply with the applicable requirements concerning the form and content of accounts set out in the Charities (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 other than any requirement that the accounts give a ‘true and fair’ view which is not a matter considered as part of an independent examination.
