We work closety and acces8 training and athiice from EAS, Flying Start,
Welsh Govemment. We are inspected biannually by Care Inspectorate
Wales and a joint inspection 18 carried out every 4-6 years by CIW and
ESTYN.

early educthon and care for chIld￿n aged 24 years. Our activities are
designed to meet the developmental needs of each child through a play-
based. child4ed approach aligned with the Curriculum for Wales and
underpinned by Froebelian princip￿$. We offer a nurturing and inclusive
environment that supports children's leaming, health. and well-being,
ensuring they are prepared for sd)¢Jol and lrfelong leaming.
We deliver Flying Start, Early Years Education. and wraparound care
sessions that are accessibb and affordable to families in our community.
Through regular engagement with parents. local seriices, and specialist
agenaes, we support children with additional needs and work
collal)oratively to ensure all children have the opportunity to thrive.
The trustees confinn that they have had due regard to the guidance
issued by the Chanty Commission on public benefit vthen planning and
delNering TK￿lers, activities. All services are delwered wtth the intention
of beneffting the W￿1C by provKling essential early education and

This year, Tiddlers has continued to build on its strong reputation for
delivering high-qualty early education and care. y￿th a focus on
Meaning￿1, authentic eXperIen￿S that foster children's holistic
development and sense of belonging.
Key achievements indude..
High*uallty tralnlng and development for sLiff, ensuring all
team members r8main up to date with best practios in earty
childhood education. Training has deepened staff understanding
of the Froebelian approach and the Curriculum for Wales, directly
contributing to improved outcomes for children.
Enhanced chlld development and learning outcomes have
been observed across all areas, with children demonstrating
increasing confidence. C￿nOSIty, creativty, and independence.
Authentic handsaon experfences suth as gardening. growing
and harvesting woduce, cooking, w0￿￿WOrking, weaving, and
sewing have offered chIld￿n lrfe-long practical skills and a deeper
understanding of their role within the community and the natural
world. These activitt88 also support sustainabilty and foster a
sense of care and responsibility.
Strong engagemont wlth the local food bank and carn project
has enabled children to actively participate in community
corrtn'bution. delivering home-grown produce and understanding
the impact of kindness and sharing.
Increased parental Involvement and wlder communlty
engagemont through open events, shared projects, and regular
communication, has further strengthened the partnership between
home and setting
Excellent feedback has teen received from both families and
professionals. Parent questionnaires reflect high levels of
satisfaction and appreciats'on for the care, communication, and
quality of provision. Extemal professionals have also recognised
the setting's commitment to indu8ion. sustainabilty, and child-
Centred practice.

remain sustainable vthilst enabling us to reach our aims throughout the
academic year.

Parents engage in fijndraising and donate plants, planters, seeds. soil,
fruit, vegetables, and reapes. They are artively engaged in their child's

All fundraising is used tcwards enhancing the children's play and learning
whilst providing them wrth beauiiful surroundings and a sense of
belongiNJ.
Tiddlers doe8 not currentty hold significant investments. Any surplus
funds are managed prudently in line with the charity's commitment to
finan¢ial sustainability. Should investments be considered in the fLrture,
the trustees will ensure that an ethical investment policy is adopted.
