We held our AGM in March 2025 at Dorset History Centre. The text of Volume 24, _Corfe Castle Censuses 1790-1831_ by Dr Martin Ayres is now ready and is in the process of proofreading. This volume has been in preparation for many years and represents a major achievement by the author. It will be one of the largest volumes the Record Society has produced. We have secured grants from the Marc Fitch Fund and Corfe Castle Parish Council towards the cost of publication. Dr Tim Connor’s book on the Letters of Lady Mary Trenchard of Wolfeton is almost ready. We have ready a new edition of Vol. 10, _The Love Letters and Poems of William Barnes_ , which has been out of print for some years. It will be in hardback with a colour cover and illustrations, an improvement on the original paperbound version. The original text has been scanned and the new cover is ready. Illustrations are being identified from the Barnes archive. Claire Skinner, Principal Archivist at Dorset History Centre has agreed to join the Trustees.
