During our trustee meeting we kept in mind the Charity Commissions guidance  on public benefit. 

The focus of the  year has been preserving the work and archives of the artist, Charles Mason and theatre designer, Naomi Wilkinson. **Summary of the main activities undertaken for the public benefit in relation to these objects (include within this section the statutory declaration that trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit)**

## **Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year** 

Due to Wilkinson Vintners Limited being unable to continue to offer free storage for the artwork of Charles Mason and the estimated cost of keeping the artwork in climate-controlled conditions (£10,000 per year). The Trustees unfortunately agreed to dispose of the artwork in order to preserve funds for awards rather than spend money on storage and transport costs of the art. 

The Trustees would like to thank Wilkinson Vintners Limited for provide free storage up to this point.

Basis of independent My examination was carried out in accordan￿ with general Directions given
examiner's statement by the Charity Commission. An examination includes a review of the
accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts
presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual
items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeking explanations from the
Iruslees COn￿rning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not
provide all the eviden￿ that would be required in an audit, and
consequently no opinion is given as to whether the accounts present a 'true
and fairf view and the report is limited to Ihose matters set out in the
statement below.
