The objects of the ClO a re (1 ) The a dvancement of e ducation for the public benefit by the provision of a community library service for the residents and the wider community in East Goscote and the surrounding a reas; {2} To p romote for the benefit of the residents of East Goscote and the surrounding a reas the p rovision of a public library tor recreation Summa r y of the objects and r o other leisure time occupation of individuals who have need of the cha r ity set out in of such facilities by reason of their youth, age, infirmity o r its gove r ning d ocument disablement, financial hardship o r social and economic circumstances o r for the public at large in the interests of social welfare and with the object of improving the condition of life of the said residents, to p rovide these services to the public without discrimination on the g rounds of sex, age, disability o r other rp otected characteristic. Free loan of books and use of computers. Preschool and School visits to the library. Issue of dog bags. Organise events for all ages. Cofee Mornings. Sale of second hand items for fund raising. Attendance at other rg oups events to p romote the library. By p roviding a continuation of the library service we have received many thanks f rom residents along with many donations. Section D Achievements and performance

We have continued to raise funds in a number of ways. We also Summa r y of the main work with the Parish Council in o rder to o rganise events for the achievements of the local residents. cha r ity d u r ing the yea r At the p resent time, the footfall is only 50% of the number rp e- pandemic but the library is on a fi rm financial footing. It is hoped that a rticles in the local magazines will encourage more users from the village and surrounding a rea.. Several improvements have been made to the library and we will continue to improve the library to make the library a more welcoming place to visit.

Our balance is low and the County B r ief statement of the Council is reducing their subsidy therefore there is a need to be cha r ity’s policy on more careful with our expenditure and more fund raising is r ese r ves essential.
