Acts of Ongoing We carried out 60acts ofkindness for individuals
that were
kindness referred to us by WCC Social Services, schools, health
professionals
and other charities.
Examples include a bed frame
for ateenager
with Leukaemia,
an iPad and bracket for a child
with a medical condition, supermarket
vouchers for a family
with child carers and a cooker for a young couple with a baby. All
individual
cases over f100were approved
by a minimum

boxes ofbiscuits. Morrisons donated food from their
Christmas project pick bag scheme where customers
buy items for good causes.

pieces
for three families. We funded
candles for our ceremony to
remember
children that have died. We purchased

teddies for parent that experienced
baby loss, atthe request of
hospital chaplains

initiative.
Children' s We work closely with social services to identify
individual
need
Services and also projects that will benefit young people
in care, or those
being supported
after leaving care.
We have provided
funding for an activity holiday so that siblings
in different care settings can spend time together. We funded
a
weekend
break for care leavers with young children. We
continued to provide
New Home packs and extended the project
to young people leaving care and starting
university
courses.
We have received reconditioned
laptops from Cool Breeze
Technology
Ltd that have been donated to young people
through
our contacts.

sixty chocolate oranges for their Christmas
Parcels
Shelter and food items at other times ofthe year.

toiletry packs for people when they leave prison so
