Acts of		Ongoing	We carried out 60acts ofkindness for individuals that were
kindness			referred to us by WCC Social Services, schools, health
			professionals and other charities. Examples include a bed frame
			for ateenager with Leukaemia, an iPad and bracket for a child
			with a medical condition, supermarket vouchers for a family
			with child carers and a cooker for a young couple with a baby. All
			individual cases over f100were approved by a minimum offour
			trustees.
Norma		Annual	We supported Norma's hampers again this year with two
Wilson's		Christmas	hundred boxes ofbiscuits. Morrisons donated food from their
Christmas		project	pick bag scheme where customers buy items for good causes.
hampers	for		We had tin collection in store to contribute to the funding ofthe
young people			project. Forthe first time, WCC Children's Services took part and
leaving/	have		provided food for the hampers. There were food collections for
left care			us at Taylor Wimpey (Midlands), St Mary's Catholic School and
			Puddleducks and Posh Nursery. Warwickshire Search and Rescue
			delivered everything to Norma with Evelyn's Gift, social services
			and Morrisons. The hampers were then collected by social
			workers and distributed to young people throughout December.
Bereavement		Ongoing	We have provided an estimated 150bereavement resource
Support			packs and memory boxes, which again, represents a significant
resources			increase compared with last year. This is partly because we are
			now supplying packs to schools and social services in North
			Warwickshire Ten packs were funded from a restricted
			Warwickshire County Council Community fund

Bereavement	Bereavement	Ongoing	The group is centred around sessions at Warwickshire Therapy
Group			and is specifically for bereaved parents, regardless ofthe age or
			circumstances oftheir child's death. Some meet individually to
			provide mutual support and friendship. We have found that
			more private sessions have been required this year, and we have
			been able to fund this from a donation from StJames' Place
Other		Ongoing	Our policy isto fund silver fingerprint jewellery for parents when
bereavement			a child dies, orfor a child when they have experienced a
suppor't			significant loss, such as a parent or sibling. We provided pieces
			for three families. We funded candles for our ceremony to
			remember children that have died. We purchased weighted
			teddies for parent that experienced baby loss, atthe request of
			hospital chaplains
Warwickshire		Ongoing	We are members ofthe Child Friendly Warwickshire initiative.
Children' s			We work closely with social services to identify individual need
Services			and also projects that will benefit young people in care, or those
			being supported after leaving care.
			We have provided funding for an activity holiday so that siblings
			in different care settings can spend time together. We funded a
			weekend break for care leavers with young children. We
			continued to provide New Home packs and extended the project
			to young people leaving care and starting university courses.
			We have received reconditioned laptops from Cool Breeze
			Technology Ltd that have been donated to young people
			through our contacts.
LWS Night		Ongoing	We provided sixty chocolate oranges for their Christmas Parcels
Shelter			and food items at other times ofthe year.
Criminal		Ongoing	We supplied toiletry packs for people when they leave prison so
Justice /			that the team can engage with them more easily. We provided
Homeless			sunscreen and toiletries for people supported by Change, Grow
outreach	in		Live Coventry team. We have increased the number oftoiletry
Coventry			packs this year to support CGLto engage with people when they
			are in hospital with addiction issues. We supplied over three
			hundred packs, plus some underwear and sanitary products.
Other			There were a number ofother projects, including mugs for the
projects			Myton Hospices cafe at Coventry and watering cans for Warwick
			cemetery
BeHappy	Day	Annual	1'"December is Evelyn's Birthday, and we ask people to carry
			out acts ofkindness. Alex Pearson from Morrisons walked
			seventeen miles to raise E727which has now been fund
			matched by Morrisons. We lit candles for children and young
			people that have died, which we do each year.
