Ongoing We carried out 42 acts of kindness for individuals.
Examples
include food vouchers
and items for families with children
with
cancer, food blender for a tube fed child, DIYsupport
and
materials for a family affected by domestic violence so that they
could move
in to their property,
prescription
goggles to allow a
child to carry on taking part in sport, weighted
teddies for
parents dealing with baby loss, coats and shoes,
support for
care leavers setting up home independently
and food parcels for
young people leaving care to start degree courses.
Referrals came from sources including

Children' s
Services, Health professionals,
Citizen's Advice, schools and
Shine a Light and a hospital chaplain.

hampers
again this year with 250 boxes
of biscuits.
Morrisons donated food from their pick bag scheme
Christmas project where customers
buy items for good causes. We had a bucket

We have increased the activity with Children's
Services, although
some spending
has been allocated to a fund that is specifically
for that purpose.
We have provided
several larger acts of
kindness to help young people setting up home such as flooring
and cookers, provided
New Home Essentials boxes for young
people and back packs for children
being taken into care. We
gave food parcels and recipe books for students
starting
university
after leaving care.
Salvation Complete The Way Ahead Project provides
Christmas
dinner for rough
army Way sleepers and vulnerable
housed people.
They had a donation
of
Ahead Project turkeys, so we provided
vegetables,
desserts and trimmings
for
Christmas all oftheir guests.
This project was funded
by Wright
Hassall
Lunch Solicitors.
Left over funds were used for breakfast

60chocolate oranges for their Christmas

FMAT ongoing FMAT is made up ofsome academies
in Birmingham

by a trust.

the schools with

toiletry packs for people when they leave prison

packs and memory
boxes
Support Packs this year, which
is more than double the demand
last year
These include packs donated to Brunswick
Hub Community
Centre and Shine a Light.
A small number went to schools
in
other counties because they had heard of us and could not find
anything
in their area, but the majority were used
in South
Warwickshire.

CPR training
and this
Hearts continues to be delivered
by our partner
charity, Warwickshire
CPR/AED Hearts.
Training ceased during the pandemic,
but WH has now
delivered
some training sessions and we have some new
requests
coming in.
Bereavement Ongoing The group
is centred around
sessions at Warwickshire
Therapy
Group and is specifically for bereaved
parents,
regardless ofthe age
or
circumstances
oftheir child's death.
Some meet individually
to
provide
mutual
support
and friendship.
Fingerprints Ongoing Our policy is to fund silver fingerprint
jewellery for parents
when
a child dies, orfor a child when they have experienced
a
significant
loss, such as a parent or sibling.
We have provided
Be Happy Day Annual pieces for 3families this year.
