The CIO'S objects are to advance education by the establishment and subsequent administration of a fund to assist
students from the Vale of Evesham attending Evesham High School {now The De Montfort School) or other
Secondary School to attend University.

During the period of this report the Trustees revised the procedures and application pmcess for students to apply to
the Trust for financial support. Bursaries are usually paid for the durdtion of the studenvs universlty course.
For September 2024 the Trustees awarded a total of 5 bursaries amounting to £75LKI per annum in addition to the
existing on-going commitments.
Since inception of the Foundation Trust in 2017 and induding 2024 awards totslling £69.500 have been paid to 25
studgnts.
The Dr Carol Ann Yates Foundation achieved the Chartty Excellen￿ Aw@rd.

on Reserves
The charity intends to retain sufficient reserves to support students for the length of their degree course. The policy
will Ipad to reserves being maintained as sufficient for three to four years committed expenditure.
The Regulations require that this report is approved by the trustee5 and after approval that the report is signed and
dated to show that it has been approved. At least one tnJstee's signature is required but it is good practice to have it
Sl8ned by two trustees. As a matter of good practice any copy of the rO￿rt sybmstted to any regulatory authority
{such as the Charity Commission) should be a signed copy.
