## **Playgrounds for Palestine UK Trustee report for 2024**

**Trustees’ Annual Report – Financial Year 1 January – 31 December 2024**

## **1 Context**

Throughout 2024 the humanitarian situation in Palestine deteriorated sharply. The war in Gaza and heightened movement restrictions in the West Bank curtailed everyday life and placed unprecedented demands on organisations working with children. These conditions framed both our fundraising environment and our programme delivery.

## **5 Looking Ahead (2025)**

- Expand working with other partners, such as Culture and Free Thought Association (CFTA) in Gaza, and consolidate and expand drama-therapy provision with Child Smile, subject to security conditions and funding, helping to ensure we reach as many children as possible.

- Expand awareness of our charity through increased social media presence and visibility through articles and conferences, as appropriate. Consider the use of a paid fundraiser.

- Continue to seek others who can support the work of our charity.

- Review and strengthen policies and procedures, as appropriate, including the working relationship with PfP in America.

_Approved by the Board of Trustees on 30/6 /2025 and signed on its behalf by Roslyn Arthur, Chair._
