To advance the education of the public by providing for the educational needs of students from Ilavalai and neighbouring villages such as Pandertherupu, Sillai, Mathagal in Sri Lanka by assisting in the provision of facilities, equipment, premises and other items for St. Henry’s College (SHC) which would not otherwise be provided out of statuary funds. 

To relieve the needs of orphans, underprivileged and Physically handicapped people in particular those who come from war torn part of Northern Province and Eastern Province including but not exclusively by providing food and maintenance to St. Anne’s Church in Ilavalai, Sri Lanka

Provided £1,750<br>funding to pay salaries to the specialist teachers including administration<br>cost. Classes are conducted in one weekday afternoon and on every<br>Saturdays<br>**2. Ilavalai Roman Catholic Tamil Junior School April 2022**<br>Provide salary for a specialist teachers to teach computer studies to the<br>pupils (£112). Replace existing computer with new computers and<br>monitors (£1150). This funding of £1,262 was funded through St. Anne’s<br>Church Ilavalai<br>**3. Ilavalai Preschool Nurseries March 2022**<br>Provide additional funding to twenty teachers in ten Preschool Nurseries<br>in Ilavalai and surrounding villages. Total funding is £1,120 to supplement<br>the education authority funding.<br>**4. Academy for Enterprise Education at Pandatherupu November**<br>**2022**<br>Providing vocational education such as English Language, Sinhala<br>Language and IT for the under privileged pupils aged between 16 and 20<br>years old living in Pandatherupu and surrounding villages. Our Charity raised £3113 from standing orders from members 

**Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year** 

Gift Aid reclaimed £846 Individual donation and Charity Pot collection £322 

Total money received during the financial year is £4,291 

Trustee’s policy is to donate most of the funds raised through standing orders, functions and individual donation to good causes and make sure that any loss made by holding function are reimbursed by the trustees
