## CIMLA COMMUNITY SPORTS ASSOCIATION 

## TRUSTEES ANNUAL REPORT 

Following all the trauma of the Coronavirus pandemic, it was a testing year for CIMLA COMMUNITY SPORTS ASSOCIATION in the year-ended 31[st] March, 2023 although the pavilion and playing fields were maintained to a reasonable standard. 

Special thanks are once again due to Mr. Jon Finn (Cimla CC) for his work on the ground up until the end of August, 2022. His decision to stand down will cause obvious problems to the cricket section and to CCSA. 

The Trustees remained unchanged – Messrs. Jon Finn, Stuart Jones, Mike Price (Cimla Cricket Club) and Messrs. Jason Davies, Craig Richards and Mark Smith (Cimla AFC) – and all are thanked for their continued dedication and hard work at a time when “volunteering” in any capacity is increasingly difficult. 

In financial terms, the year showed a surplus of £305.93 and an improved bank balance of £379.12 but it must be noted that the cash-flow has not allowed for the insurance £400 p.a. to be paid and at year-end this is still owed to Neath PTCBC. 

Both sections will need to increase contributions in YE24. The accounts were approved as a true record and adopted. 

The numerical weakness of both sections is an ongoing challenge for the CCSA and, along with the need to find additional/replacement volunteers, is a mjor risk.
