TRUSTEES ANNUAL REPORT
Despite the year ending in the chaos of a Coronavirus epidemic, the CIMLA COMMUNITY SPORTS ASSOCIATION operated quite successfully in the yearended 31[st] March, 2021. The pavilion and playing fields continue to be looked after to a high standard.
Special thanks are especially due to Mr. Jon Finn (Cimla CC) and Mr. Neil Hornby (Cimla CC) who have continued to maintain the ground throughout the summer of 2021 despite being hampered by constant trespassers especially “golfers” taking advantage of their new found “free time” to cause damage to the grounds.
The Trustees remained unchanged – Messrs. Jon Finn, Stuart Jones, Mike Price (Cimla Cricket Club) and Messrs. Jason Davies, Craig Richards and Mark Smith (Cimla AFC) – and all are thanked for their continued dedication and hard work at a time when “volunteering” in any capacity is increasingly difficult.
In financial terms, the year showed a small loss of £719.38 leaving a bank balance of £933.35 in accordance with the agreed practice. The balance was higher than usual due to an insurance invoice £400) being due to Neath PT CBC – payment delayed – and slightly reduced expenditure. Both due to Coronavirus and will be paid in 2021. The accounts were approved as a true record and adopted.
NB - Due to said Coronavirus epidemic, this report and the accounts were circulated by e-mail and agreed by all Trustees.
