BG raised their charge per session to £11 from February 2025. We will increase our charge to riders from September 2025. The weekly charge for the caban remains at £25pw. We continue to meet the cost of all rugs worn by the horses we use, including repair and washing. We are also feeding a number of horses, and providing ValeBale horseage to them all. We were extremely grateful for the continued generous sponsorship of ValeBale . We continue to fundraise to meet all costs not met by rider contributions. The treasurer’s report will provide a breakdown of this funding. We operated on Monday (Cyswllt Ceffyl/Horse Connections). and Tuesday in term time for this reporting year. ## **Participant Opportunities** ## **Monday** Cyswllt Ceffyl/Horse Connections sessions. Participants do sessions dor a term, with 2 participants from Ysgol Bro Idris taking part in one session. There have been 15 participants this reporting year - 14 under 18 - 1 over 18 ## **Tuesday** We had 33 registered participants on a Tuesday: - 22 under 18 - 11 Over 18 - We have 21 registered volunteers (this includes 10 Trustees) - We are very fortunate to have 4 qualified and extremely talented coaches (Jaspa, Louise, Holly and Lyndsay), with Sara is about to complete her coach training. - We provided 112 on Mondays and 822 sessions on Tuesdays in this reporting year - truly exceptional. - This is down to a committed and talented team providing an even wider range of equine based opportunities and experiences. - 822 in 2024/25 - 715 in 2023/24 - 630 in 2022/23 - - 425 in 2021/22 - 48 in 2020/21 - 567 in 2019/20 - 375 in 2018/19 - 420 in 2017/18 - - 394 in 2015/16 - 757 in 2014/15 Aelod o _**Gymdeithas Marchogaeth I’r Anabl**_ yn ymgorffori Gyrru Cerbydau A member of the _**Riding for the Disabled Association**_ incorporating Carriage Driving Rhif Elusen/Charity Number 244108 **Grŵp Marchogaeth** ## **Arbennig Meirionnydd** ## _**Meirionnydd Special Riding Group**_ Sefydlwyd/Founded 1973 Rhif Elusen/Charity Number 1164876 - We were able to enter riders for the National Championships in July 2024. Sadly we were only able to enter a limited group of riders to the Qualifiers due to weight restrictions on the CSRC horses available. - We held another extremely successful Open Day and holding it on Saturdays seems to ensure a varied attendance of participants and supporters. ## **Conclusion** We were again fully operational this year, and our activity figures highlight how few sessions we had to cancel due to the weather - and the continued commitment and dedication of our helpers. We continue to receive praise for the work of the group, and that is down to an amazing team who support our fantastic and inspirational participants. This year donations and fundraising provided a range of equipment, including new saddles for 6 horses. We hope to complete work on the kitchen installation soon, and thanks goes to Eirlys Stoddard for working to source us a donated kitchen unit. We cannot do anything without the support we receive from our exceptional trustees, helpers, participants, their families and carers, and for that we are so very thankful.
