## **Wragby Community Group Trustee Chairperson’s Report 2020** 

Wragby Community Group continues its aim to maintain a library in Wragby for the benefit of residents in Wragby and surrounding villages. We receive a grant from Lincolnshire County Council towards some of our costs. We run the library entirely with volunteers and the Trustees are grateful to the volunteers for their time to enable us to provide this facility. We aim to provide community activities at the Hub and encourage other local groups to use the facility on a low hire charge. 

Due to the Covid restrictions in place during 2020 the committee were unable to meet. As not all members had access to online meeting facilities. The trustees note that the group managed to hold the AGM before lock down. An elected committee was in place and the officers kept in touch to provide continuation of monitoring financial and other services. The facilities were not used from mid March until September when a limited service, to pick up reserved and return library books, was permitted. The Trustees are again grateful to the volunteers for their time in allowing us to provide this service. Our charity status gave us full business rate relief under the Government scheme and this was most welcome, as we had no additional income apart from our grant from Lincolnshire County Council.
