The primary objective of the Charity will be the provision of housing accommodation to the poor and needy in the City of Coventry. Plans for future periods 11 is anlicipaled that the assets that are CLJrrenlly held within Coventry Church (Municipall Charities relating specifically lo Bond's and Ford's Almshouses and Bond's Lodge will be transferred lo the Bond's and Ford's Almshouse Charity. The Directors are in agreernenl that these assets will be transferred at an appropriate time. Structure. governance and management The Charity was established on 14 December 2015 and was formed as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation. The financi81 statements have been prepared in accordance with Accounting and Reporting by Charities" Statement of Recommended Practice applicable to charities preparing their accounts in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic ol Ireland IFRS 1021 issued in October 2019, the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland IFRS 1021, the Charities Act 2011, and UK Generally Accepted Accounting Practice. The charity has not included a cash flow statement on the grounds that il is applying FRS 102 Section 1A. The financial statements are prepared on a going concern basis under the historical cost convention, modified lo Include certain items at fair value.
