## **Description of the charity’s trusts**

Apart from the first charity trustees, every trustee must be appointed by a Trustee selection methods resolution passed at a properly convened meeting of the charity trustees. (eg. appointed by, elected by) All trustees are life time trustees, subject to section 12 (1) and (2) of the Charity Constitution. 

(2) In selecting individuals for appointment as charity trustees, the charity trustees must have regard to the skills, knowledge and experience needed for the effective administration of the CIO

The objects of the charity are, for the public benefit: the objects and aims of the charity are by such means that are charitable to promote the faith of Islam by: 

(i) The establishment of a mosque and educational centre in Dewsbury and its environs and their management; (ii) The propagation of Islam according to the Quran the Sunnah and hadith; **Summary of the objects of the** (iii) The establishment of madrassah for the religious education of **charity set out in its** men, women and children; **governing document** (iv) The establishment of a library of Islamic books at the centre; (v) The holding of religious festivals; (vi) The holding of sadaqa/zakat and its disbursement according to Shariah; (vii) Co-operation and liaison with other organisations pursuing similar aims and objects.
