We identify these young talents in Africa and mentor them to realise their potential and become effective leaders who contribute to their communities. March **2012** **TAR** 2 Our main focus is mentoring. We provide mentors for our students who inspire, guide and support them to make the right decisions for their future. Another major activity is organising summer camps for our students and providing opportunity for networking. Participation in all activities is free for selected students. **Summary of the main activities undertaken for the public benefit in relation to these objects (include within this section the statutory declaration that trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit)** ## **Additional details of objectives and activities (Optional information)** Our volunteer staff continue to offer invaluable services to our charity free of charge. Some of our volunteers go a step to support students from their own resources and facilitate networking and organised outreach services for our students. March **2012** **TAR** 3 Section D Achievements and performance **Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year** Following the COVID-19 pandemic, our organization has been gradually recovering from the significant challenges brought about by the global crisis. During this recovery period, our primary focus has been on strengthening our digital infrastructure, including updating and improving our website and expanding our online presence. These efforts have enabled us to better engage with our stakeholders, increase awareness of our mission, and reach a wider audience. We have also continued to expand our database of volunteer mentors. Although progress has been gradual, we have achieved encouraging results in recruiting highly qualified volunteer mentors, particularly from universities across Africa. These individuals bring valuable expertise, experience, and commitment to supporting our programs and beneficiaries. Furthermore, we have successfully attracted a number of volunteer coordinators, project assistants, and interns who have generously contributed their time and skills to support our activities. Their involvement has strengthened our operational capacity and enabled us to maintain and expand our programs despite limited financial resources. One of our greatest strengths has been our dedicated volunteer workforce. All of our activities have been planned, managed, and delivered by volunteers, allowing us to operate with virtually no administrative or overhead costs. This volunteer-driven model ensures that our resources are used efficiently and that the maximum possible benefit is directed toward achieving our organizational objectives and serving our communities. As we continue to recover and grow, we remain committed to expanding our network of volunteers, strengthening our partnerships, and increasing the impact of our programs across the communities we serve. We relied on voluntary contribution from the founder and director. We did not run our annual summer camp this year. Our focus has been on mentoring. We continue to rely on our volunteer coordinators to run our activities, and these dedicated individuals provide their services and expertise at no cost to our charity. We do not have any major asset. We operate from a small, dedicated space provided by the director in Cambridge at no cost to us.
