||||||friends ofZeo have had loads offun|
||||||serving 23 households<br>in our community.|
||||||This equates to over 500 hours, given|
||||||freely, to serve and meet the needs of both|
||||||our Zeo family and the wider community.<br>We've also built strong relationships<br>with|
||||||local agencies and shown them that we,|
||||||the Church,<br>really do care about and love|
||||||our neighbours.|
||||||4.Through<br>our partnership<br>with Christians|
||||||Against<br>Poverty, we visited 24 new clients,|
||||||ofwhich 14went forward<br>with the advice|
||||||and budget prepared<br>by head office. 8<br>clients went debt free with f128,471.11of|
||||||debts repaid or written<br>off. In the almost 9|
||||||years since opening the debt centre has|
||||||now helped 60clients go debt free with<br>E1,038,278.49ofdebts repaid or written<br>off.|
||||||5.We spent just over f10,000from our Zeo|
||||||Community<br>Fund to support<br>people within,|
||||||and beyond Zeo. This included<br>carpet|
||||||fitting, Christmas<br>food hampers,<br>emergency|
||||||food<br>arcels, famil<br>outin<br>s, washin|





|machine,<br>tumble<br>dryer repairs, new|

|bedroom —plus finances some ofthe work|
|of Helping<br>Hands.|
|6.Sam and Leo, our Zeo Pastors<br>in|
|Moldova,<br>helped<br>many 1000's of Ukrainian|
|refugees last year through<br>food parcels,|
|housing<br>in Moldova and placing many|
|families<br>with sponsors<br>in the UK. The|
|families supported<br>households<br>in Zeo|
|thrived<br>with some Ukrainian<br>families<br>still|
|connecting<br>with Zeo. We have<br>in the last 6|
|months<br>worked<br>in partnership<br>with Hitchin|
|Churches<br>Together to support refugee|
|families<br>in the community<br>with things<br>like|
|school uniforms,<br>clothes for children<br>and|
|adults,<br>Prom outfit etc.|
|7. Paul and Elaine, our Zeo Pastors<br>in|
|Mexico, have built 3houses<br>with|
|bathrooms,<br>plus a school room for the local|
|community,<br>alongside<br>a wider range of|
|home improvements<br>for the community<br>within Leona Vicario. They' ve also|
|launched<br>a Saturday<br>afternoon<br>family|
|fellowship<br>group, our first Zeo Community|
|in Mexico.|
|8.An average of30children engaged<br>in|
|our Zeo Kids ministry each month,|
|supported<br>by a brilliant team. Alongside|
|this, the team ran numerous<br>special events|
|including<br>the One-Day<br>holiday last summer|
|which had 40 kids participating,<br>including|
|13from the local community.<br>PLUS our|
|brilliant<br>Playbox team worked<br>with 27|
|children<br>this past year in our preschool.|
|9.An average of 16young people aged 10-<br>15engaged<br>in our Zeo Youth ministry each|
|month on Sundays,<br>and around 15young|
|people aged 15+engaged<br>in specific|
|ministry<br>for them. 33young people came to|
|Satellites Youth Festival<br>in August 2022|
|joining for 2,000 youth from across the|
|country (and we' re just about to set off on|
|this year's 2023 festival). It's been great to|
|see so many ofour young people serve|
|and lead in the life in the church,<br>including|
|3young people preaching<br>for the first time|
|on Father's Day.|
|10. We' re grateful for our pastoral team of|
|30 people are wonderfully<br>involved<br>in a|
|quietly caring for many<br>in the Zeo family|
|who are struggling<br>with a variety oftough<br>issues.|
