The Circuit produces a quarterly P￿a¢hIng Plan to ensure regular acts of
worship take pla￿ at each of the Methodist Churches and Local
EcumeniGal Partnerships in it8 g¢ographiGal aroa. TheB• are open lo all
people, without charge.
The Minister In Other Appointment provides a Chaplaincy Seryice to the
Local Hospice.
The Truslees have had regard to the Charity Commission's guidance on

The Circuit Model Trust Fund contains the funds from the sale of ¢hapel$
and manses and is restricted by the Methodist Conference. Thls
restriction is an internal regulation though the fund can be used for
variety of purposes. The Trustees have drawn up a set of ground rules to
ensure that grants made from the Circuit Model Trust Fund are usèd
effectNely for mission and capital works.

Summary of the main
achievements of tho charfty
durlng the year
The Circuti Leadership Team has observed the ￿tIdIng of numerous new
homes within Weston-super-mare wrth interest over the last few years
and has started to work on the new Mead Fields Estate. The Circuit
Meeting is keen to proceed with this work as soon as possible. With
homes now being built significant resources have been made available
for this project in conjunction vthh an application (made with th? adjoining
Circuit) for Connexional Funds
The Circurt Leadership Team maintains links with other voluntary and
¢haritable organisations that share its value8 in order to support those in
need in the local area and advance the Christian faith.
In coniunctton with the District Safeguarding Officer, the Circuit
Safeguarding taam has implemented a range of safeguarding training
i and r•froshor tr2ining during tho yaar. A packago of blondoé logrning io

The charity maintains funds lo covor 6 month'8 avèrage expenditure and
ongoing capital expendrture. In addition, a sum is held to meet any
unforeseen major item of expenditure on mans&s, andlor to continue
planned activilies in the event of the closure of 8 large church or an
inability lo rai$e the full Circuit As6essment from churches.
The Charity has earna￿ed £2(X),000 for Mead Fields projeGt.
It 19 necessary to hcld SLrfficient WOtkin9 Gapilal to enable the payment of
ministerial stipends and business expenditure for 2 ministers, salary of a
Circuit Administrator, and our contribution to the Digtricl.
The charity has reviewed ils commitment to its ministers and the next
available date for significant change to this expenditure is September
2026.
