Section D Achievements and performance In 2016 Ihe CircuÈt Leadership Team led a review of all churches wilhin tts area to establish their requirements for the next 3 - 5 years. From this infom7ation a further review was inibated wtthin each church in 2017. These remews have estsblished groups vrithin the Circuit to look at PriOTrti8s and vision for their areas. The outcome of these discussions will continue to infomi CIrr[t WlcY and grant making decisions for the next few years. Summary ofthe main achievements of the charity during the year In 2020 the Circuii Leadership remewed this dcment and prcJuced remsed Mission SLgtement and accompanying plan - further revision will be requir•J in the light of the impact of COVILk19 lockdown. The Circutt Leadership Team has ObSed the building of numerous new homes within Weston-super-mare with interest and has stsrted to work on the new Mead Fields EsLqte. The extent of this missional activtty has been severely restrided by the Connexional offi of Methodist Church withdrawing funding for suth adivilies due to their reduced income from investments. In additson our abilty to Work in the Estate has Ixen hampered by Lockd¢xn regulations. Nevertheless, the Circuit Meeting is keen to prcxI with this work as soon as possible. Wth homes now being buill significant resources will be made available for this project in 2020121. The CirClt LelershiP Team maintains links wilh other voluntsry and charItae organisations that share its values. particularly through the work of the dean, in order to support those in need in the Iccal area and advan the Christian faith. In conjundion with the District Safeguarding Offi*r, the Circuit Safeguardiro team has planned a range of safeguarding training and refresher training during the year. Delivery of such training has teen revised in 2020 to reoy)gnise the inabilty of members to meet.
