Responsibilities and basis of report As the charity trustees of the Charity you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in a¢¢ord2nce with the requiretnents of the Charities Act 2011 ('the Ael')- I report in respect of my examination of the Charity's accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination I have followed all the appli¢able Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5){b) of the Act. Independent examiner's statement I have completed my examination. l ¢onfirm that no material matters have come to my atteiition in connection with th¢ examination giving me cause to believe that in any material r¢spect'. a¢¢ounting records were not kept in respect of the Charity as required by section 130 of the Act- or the accounts do not accord with thos¢ re¢ords' or the a¢counts do not cotnply ivith tlie applicable requirements concerning the form and content of accounts set out in the Charili¢s (Ac¢ounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 other than any requirement that the ac¢oiints give a 'lrue and fair view which is not a matter considered as part of an independent examination. Assets Costing less than £l.000 are not Capilalised. Depreciation is cal¢ulat¢d so 0$ to write off th¢ ¢ost of an asset, less its ¢srimated ultimat¢ residual value, over th¢ useful lif¢ of that asset as follows.. Land & Buildings (which include fami buildings) are valued ai cost and are not depreciated as the trustees maintain the buildings. Play Equipment, purchased during the year, is being d¢pre¢iaied at 20°h on the straight line method based on an estimated useful life of 5 years. Fund Accounting Unrestricted funds can be used in accordance with the charitable objects at the discretion of the trusiees. Restricted funds RestTI¢led funds Can only be used for particular restricted purposes ivithin the objects of the ¢harity. Restrictions can arise when specified by the donor or when funds are raised for pani¢ular resiricied purposes. Desiated fund5 form part of unrestricted funds and liave been ideJitifie5 as be2ng for particular purposes by the trustees. They are not resiricied and ¢an be transferred to gen¢ral funds ai any time ai tlie discretion of the trustees. Pennanent endowment funds are resources received by the Charity that represent ¢apital. A feature of end0]ent funds is tliat charity law requires the trustees to invest or relain the funds for the charity's purposes. The terin endowment appli¢s io pemianent endowment, wher¢ th¢ trustees have no power to convert it into incom¢ and apply it.
