## **Introduction**
The trustees present their annual report and accounts for the year ended **31st July 2025.**
The board of trustees are satisfied with the performance of the charity during the year and the position at **31st July 2025** and consider that the charity is in a strong position to continue its activities during the coming year, and that the charity's assets are adequate to fulfil its obligations.

The object[s] of the CIO is:
The advancement of the Islamic religion including religious education for the benefit of the public.
To advance education for the public benefit of young people in Bangladesh and the sub-continent.
To promote and protect good health for the public benefit of people in Bangladesh and the subcontinent.
The prevention or relief of poverty for the public benefit in the Bangladesh region as the trustees shall determine.

Religious, Educational, Humanitarian activities are carried out by Helping Humanity such as Iftar projects, Orphan projects and Rickshaw projects for the public benefit of Bangladesh and the subcontinent.

## **Achievements and Performance of the Charity**
## _**A review of charitable activities undertaken by the charity**_
During the reporting period, Helping Humanity continued its commitment to supporting vulnerable communities through humanitarian relief, community development, and sustainable support initiatives both locally and internationally. The charity’s projects were aimed at addressing immediate needs whilst promoting long-term support and self-sufficiency.
## _**Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year**_
In the financial year 2024-2025, Helping Humanity implemented several impactful initiatives to uplift underprivileged communities in Bangladesh. Our projects aimed to address immediate needs while fostering long-term sustainability. The key projects and ongoing services include:
- 1x Mosque Ablution Area repaired
- 22x Water Pumps installed
- 2x Wedding Support projects delivered
- 2x Sewing Machines distributed
- 1x Medical Support project delivered for a cancer patient
- 1x Madrasa Tin Room Project completed
- 7x cows and 1x goat distributed for Qurbani in Bangladesh
- 10x sheep distributed for Qurbani in Yemen
- 3x Wheelchairs distributed
- 24 vulnerable families supported through Zakat Distribution, including widows, elderly individuals and disabled persons
- 205x Zakatul Fitr packs distributed
- 400x food packs distributed during Ramadan for Street Iftar initiatives
- 9x Community Iftar Events hosted, serving over 4,900 people
- 1x Home Repair project completed
- 1x Medical Support project delivered for an orphan
- 2x Roadside Kiosks delivered to support sustainable income generation
- 1x Madrasa railing and development project completed
- 1x Yemen Mosque received new window installations and carpets
The trustees remain committed to ensuring that donations are utilised effectively, transparently, and in accordance with the charity’s objectives to support vulnerable communities through both emergency relief and sustainable development initiatives.

## _**Fundraising activities**_
Helping Humanity’s main source of charity fundraising activities remain via social media networking with friends, families and colleagues.

Helping Humanity's primary source of fundraising comes from social media campaigns, as well as networking with friends, family, and colleagues. These efforts help raise awareness and funds to support our charitable projects, allowing us to continue making a positive impact in the
## _**Background Information of some of the Projects carried out**_
## **Sewing Machine for women - To promote self sustainability**
The Sewing Machine Project supports vulnerable individuals by providing equipment to help generate sustainable income. During the year, 2 sewing machines were distributed to beneficiaries to support self-employment opportunities and financial independence.
## **Water Pump Project**
Helping Humanity recognises the critical need for access to clean and safe water in vulnerable communities. During the reporting period, the charity successfully delivered 22 water pumps, helping provide families with reliable access to clean water for drinking, cooking, and daily use. These projects continue to support improved hygiene, health outcomes, and overall living conditions within disadvantaged communities.
## **House Project**
The Home Repair Project aims to provide vulnerable families with safer and more secure living conditions. During the reporting period, 1 home repair project was completed for a vulnerable household requiring essential improvement works.
## **Orphans Support**
Helping Humanity continued to support vulnerable individuals requiring urgent medical assistance during the reporting period. Support was provided for a cancer patient as well as an orphan requiring medical assistance and care.

## **Zakatul- Fitr**
During Ramadan, Helping Humanity distributed 205 Zakatul Fitr packs to vulnerable families and individuals in need. These distributions ensured beneficiaries were able to participate in Eid celebrations with dignity and support.
## **Zakat Distribution**
Helping Humanity distributed Zakat support to 24 vulnerable families during the reporting period, including widows, elderly individuals, and disabled persons. The charity remains committed to ensuring Zakat donations are distributed responsibly to those most in need.
## **Qurbani Projects**
Helping Humanity carried out Qurbani distributions in both Bangladesh and Yemen during the reporting period. A total of 7 cows and 1 goat were distributed in Bangladesh, alongside 10 sheep distributed in Yemen. These distributions supported vulnerable families and ensured beneficiaries were able to participate in Eid-ul-Adha celebrations with dignity.
## **Street Iftar and Community Iftar Events**
During Ramadan, Helping Humanity distributed 400 food packs through its Street Iftar initiative to support vulnerable individuals and families. In addition, the charity hosted 9 community Iftar events serving over 4,900 people throughout the month, helping bring communities together and support those in need. year, we continue to serve thousands of people, especially in rural areas of Bangladesh, ensuring that even the most marginalized have the opportunity to break their fast with dignity and support.
## **Roadside Kiosk**
The Roadside Kiosk initiative supports individuals and families by providing opportunities for sustainable income generation. During the reporting period, 2 roadside kiosks were delivered to beneficiaries to support small business activities and financial independence.
## **Madrasa Development Project**
Helping Humanity continued supporting educational and religious facilities through development initiatives. During the reporting period, the charity completed a Madrasa Tin Room Project alongside additional Madrasa railing and development works to improve facilities for students and the wider community.
## **Yemen Mosque Project**
Helping Humanity supported improvement works for a mosque in Yemen during the reporting period. The project included the installation of new windows and carpets to improve facilities for worshippers and the wider community.

## **Structure, Governance and Management**
## _**Nature of the Governing Document and constitution of the charity**_
The Charity is incorporated and governed by its own Foundation constitiution The trustees have overall control and responsibility for policy and major decision making.
## _**The methods adopted for the recruitment and appointment of new trustees**_
Other than the Trustees and those persons connected with them there are no individuals who are related parties.
Details of transactions with related parties are shown in the notes to the accounts. This includes remuneration and expenses paid to Trustees.
The Trustees are appointed at the Charity’s Annual General Meeting. Any casual vacancy arising during the year is filled by co-option of a person onto the board; that person is then duly elected at the subsequent Annual General Meeting.
No third party has a right to appoint a Trustee.

The trustees have resolved to establish reserves to provide for future activities, and to provide funding for the expected expenditure for six months ahead in the sum of £5,000.

## **Statement of Trustees' Responsibilities**
The Charities Act and the Companies Act require the Board of Trustees to prepare financial statements for each financial year which give a true and fair view of the state of affairs of the charity as at the end of the financial year and of the surplus or deficit of the charity. In preparing those financial statements the Board is required to :-
- select suitable accounting policies and then apply them consistently;
- make judgements and estimates that are reasonable and prudent; and
- prepare the financial statements on the going concern basis unless it is inappropriate to presume that the charity will continue in business.
- state whether applicable accounting standards and statements of recommended practice have been followed , subject to any material
- departures disclosed and explained in the financial statements;
The Trustees are also responsible for maintaining adequate accounting records which disclose with reasonable accuracy at any time the financial position of the charity and which are sufficient to show and explain the charity's transactions and enable them to ensure that the financial statements comply with the Companies Act 2006 and comply with regulations made under the Charities Act. They are also responsible for safeguarding the assets of the charity and hence for taking reasonable steps for the prevention and detection of fraud and other irregularities.
The trustees are also responsible for the contents of the trustees' report, and the responsibility of the independent examiner in relation to the trustees' report is limited to examining the report and ensuring that , on the face of the report, there are no inconsistencies with the figures disclosed in the financial statements.

## **on the accounts of the Charity for the year ended 31 July 2025**
We report on the financial statements of the charity on pages 7-11 for the year ended 31 July 2025 which have been prepared in accordance in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard for Smaller Entities (the FRSSE) , effective April 2008, as modified by the Statement of Recommended Practice for Accounting and Reporting issued by the Charity Commissioners for England & Wales, effective April 2005 revised in June 2008, (The SORP), under the historical cost convention and the accounting policies..
## **Respective responsibilities of trustees and accountant**
As described on page 5, the charity's trustees, who are also the directors of the company for the purposes of company law, are responsible for the preparation of the accounts. The trustees consider that the audit requirement of Section 144(1) of the Charities Act 2011 (the Act) does not apply, and that there is no requirement in the memorandum and articles of the charity for the conducting of an audit, and that the charity is exempt from an audit under Section 477 of the Companies Act 2006.The trustees also consider the charity to be exempt from the requirement to be subject to Independent Examination.
Our responsibility is to prepare accounts upon the basis of the information supplied to us

We have not carried out any audit procedures and have relied upon information supplied to us by the trustees , and the information supplied by the trustees in the course of the examination is not subjected to audit tests or enquiries, and consequently we do not express an audit or other assurance opinion on the view given by the accounts.
