Kyaninga CDC Trust is dedicated to supporting Kyaninga Child Development Centre (KCDC) Uganda through strategic fundraising and resource mobilisation. As a friend of KCDC Uganda, Kyaninga CDC Trust’s main goal is to secure financial resources to support the sustainability and expand KCDC Uganda’s impactful work. Mission:

The mission of KCDC Trust is to provide financial support for KCDC Uganda, ensuring that children with disabilities in Uganda have access to vital healthcare, education, and assistive technologies. Core Responsibilities: 1. Fundraising:  Donor Engagement: Building and maintaining relationships with individual donors, companies, foundations, and charities to secure ongoing financial support.  Fundraising Campaigns: Planning and running fundraising events and campaigns to raise money for KCDC Uganda’s programmes and projects.  Grant Applications: Finding and applying for grants from different sources to meet the various needs of KCDC Uganda. 2. Financial Stewardship:  Fund Management: Ensuring that all raised funds are used responsibly and according to donor wishes and KCDC Uganda’s strategic needs.  Transparency: Providing clear and detailed financial reports to donors and stakeholders to show how their contributions are used. 3. Awareness and Advocacy:  Public Relations: Promoting the mission and work of KCDC Uganda through media, social media, and public speaking.  Advocacy: Supporting the rights and needs of children with disabilities by working with partners and networks to drive positive change. 4. Strategic Partnerships:  Collaborations: Building partnerships with other organisations, both locally and internationally, to support KCDC Uganda.  Networking: Creating a strong network of supporters and advocates who can help KCDC Uganda grow and sustain its work. Distinct Role: Kyaninga CDC Trust is a loyal supporter of KCDC Uganda and operates independently. Its role is to support KCDC Uganda by focusing on fundraising and resource mobilisation, not to manage its operations. Through its efforts, Kyaninga CDC Trust helps KCDC Uganda continue its mission of improving the lives of children with disabilities, ensuring they have the support they need to thrive.
