The charity funded a number of projects up to March 2022 which included the following: • Voluntary work at the children’s residential Bhai Amrik Singh Memorial Gurmat Camp. • Funding / supported Sikh Education classes in the UK and in India. • Supported the costs of upkeep of a historical place of worship and providing food for students and congregation in Kankawal in India. • Creation of new Sikh history books and audio books Trustees have followed the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit in all the activities it has undertaken. |

The Sikh Learning Trust has successfully met it’s aims this year by Summary of the main funding a number of projects which include the advancement of achievements of the charity education in the UK or abroad, in particular providing or assisting in the during the year provision of classes and workshops in the following subjects:

In the UK the classes have been held in association with Guru Nanak Gurdwara Willenhall and abroad the charity has supported classes run at Gurdwara Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Vill. Kanakwal, Punjab India.
The Sikh Learning Trust funded activities to promote the advancement of the Sikh religion in the UK or abroad, in the holding of religious services and prayer meetings, producing and/or distributing literature to enlighten others about the Sikh religion, and holding workshops and courses to teach people about the Sikh religion and the Sikh way of life.
The charity also supported the production of unique pieces of digital productions, audio and videos.

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 31 /03 /2021.
Responsibilities and As the charity's trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the basis of report accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”).
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
Independent examiner's statement
I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect:

the accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the Charities Act; or
-
the accounts did not accord with the accounting records; or
-
the accounts did not comply with the applicable requirements concerning the form and content of accounts set out in the Charities (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 other than any requirement that the accounts give a ‘true and fair’ view which is not a matter considered as part of an independent examination.
I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
