CHARITABLE OBJECTIVES
The charity's objectives are to relieve poverty by providing access to clean water in areas of acute water poverty through funding existing charities and raising public awareness.
STRUCTURE, GOVERNANCE AND MANAGEMENT
The charity is run entirely by unpaid volunteers. No trustees receive any remuneration, payments or benefits from the charity. The trustees met informally on multiple occasions during the year to review the charity's position and discuss future plans.
ACTIVITIES AND ACHIEVEMENTS IN 2024
The trustees maintained oversight of the charity's registration and compliance obligations, and kept the charity's bank account active with existing reserves.
No public fundraising events were organised during this period, and no new partnerships or project funding arrangements were established.
During 2024, the charity did not conduct any fundraising activities or make any grant distributions. This represented a fallow period for the organisation as trustees focused on other personal commitments. This naturally led to a period of reflection as to the future of the charity, which was discussed at length towards the end of the year. However, it was decided that NMDW would continue into the following year and promote an event in May 2025 to commemorate the 10 year anniversary of the founder's death.
The charity remains committed to its charitable objectives and trustees will continue to monitor opportunities to deliver impact aligned with its aims and objectives.
Decisions around the tenure of trustees and trustee roles will be made in 2025.
FINANCIAL REVIEW

Income: The charity received no donations during 2024, and no income with the exception of bank interest on funds held on reserve.

Expenditure: The charity incurred minimal expenditure during 2024, limited to bank charges and website hosting costs.

Reserves: The charity held reserves of £ 6,215.57 at the end of the year, which remain available for future charitable activities.

Reserves Policy: The trustees consider it prudent to maintain reserves to fund future water projects when fundraising activities resume.
