After a successful year of awareness raising, fundraising and volunteer activity in 2022, the charity was regretfully unable to maintain the momentum in the following year. 

The event manager who successfully led our "flagship" event was not available, nor was the key venue around which it had been centred. Simultaneously, there was a drop-off in volunteer support, despite the interest around the projects where our 2022 income had been spent. 

Consequently there was little fundraising activity aside from a single private donation of note (made by a long standing supporter of the charity) but overall it was a "fallow" year with no new events. 

Aside from the donation referred to above, the highlight of the year was the continuing success of the charity's relationship with our fulfilment partner in Uganda Watercause Africa, which has continued to provide information and feedback from clean water projects they have delivered on our behalf. 

This includes details of the number of families supported by each Protected Spring, the maintenance required for (and overall life of) our sites and the WaSH & community education initiatives implemented alongside each build.
