Para 1.17 and 1.19	In planning our actvites for the year we kept in mind the Charity Commission’s guidance on public beneft at our trustee meetngs. We contnue to regularly update our free open- access website with new resources for A Level Art History. This year’s annual CPD event was hosted at Queen’s College, London. Caroline Osborne also provided CPD at Cheltenham College. Our annual summer HE Art History Conference was hosted at Putney High School, London. As usual, we organise the teachers’ lunch tme meetng at the annual Ways of Seeing conference hosted by the Associaton of Art Historians at the Natonal Gallery. We were supported in our initatves by school and university students, teachers, academics, museums and galleries and the wider public hence expanding understanding of Art History.

Achievements and Performance

Summary of the main achievements of the charity, identifying the difference the charity’s work has made to the circumstances of its beneficiaries and any wider benefits to society as a whole.	Para 1.20	Continuous Professional Development This year’s annual training was hosted by Queens College, London on 28 th February, with contributions from AHiS teachers Daniel Greaney and Jonathan Casely. It reached the full complement of A-level Art History teachers. Annual Art History and Art and Design Higher Education Conference was hosted by Putney High School on Saturday 25 th June. Due to the pressure on teachers in schools since covid it was organised by ex- trustee and retired teacher Caroline Osborne. Attendance from independent schools was lower than usual (perhaps due to train strike) and the best state school turnout came from schools associated with the West London Art History Reading Group and Art History Link-Up. Curious Curators project with primary school children in Salisbury came to fruition led by former AHiS trustee Laura Worsley.

Other		Our annual art history higher education conference was only possible thanks to the contribution of academics, artists, graduate students and early career art historians. In particular we would like to thank artist Sutapa Biswas, Dr. Kate Cowcher from the University of ST. Andrews and Jerwood Writer in Residence Salena Barry.
