Objectives and activities Objects. altsi GNG Fooiball Club is one of ihe biggest and oldesi grassrLK)ts f￿)Iball clubs in ihe City of Leicesier. The club operaies from ihe Riverside site in the south of ihe city and ihe Soar Valley siie in the north of ihe cli>. The club has over thirty teams w ith players from all ages, 4 years old io veierans ages. These plavers train and play league matches on a weekly basis. To oversee these teams we have a ￿aM of near 100 volunieers, mosi of who are FA qualified Loaches. This season saw a big increase in the number of girls playing fooiball ai ihe club. The six girls teams ihai we have running all train at the Soar Valley site and play iheir league maiches ai the Riverside siie. The clLib merged il's seniors. team. (iN(i Oadby To*'n FC. into ihe main GNG Football Club. This ieam plays in the UCI. t)ivision at step 5 of ihe fooiball p>'ramid svstem. The team played it's first season ai ihe Riverside Football Ground. having moved from it's fomier ground in Oadby. The club erecied a 100 seater siand ai the Riverside Fooiball Ground in order io fulfil ihe league's requirements and enable ihe move of GNG OT FC from Oadby io Riverside.
