Achievements and Performance As part of our role yrknng alongside South Easl Coast Ambulance Service we attended 999 calls. After assessing patients W8 treated them until arrival of a Paramedic Summary of the main achievements of the charty, identifying the difference the harity's Work has made to the Circumstances of its beneficiaries and any wider benefrts to society as whole. Parn120 We also attended patients who had fallen at home and needed assistance to get off the floor. To this end our Responders had ceived extra training to use specialised Itfting equipment. This is part of a scheme to rèlieve pr8ssure on 8m8rgen¢y ambulance craws and allowed much earlier arrival of Community Responders to attend and treat these cohort of patients. This early attendance helps to relieve the IONJ tem effects of 'long li88, and reduces the need for hospitalisation. As part of our commitment to teach the public CPR and use of an AED we attended several local communrty groups and schools to equip the communty with the skills required to give CPR and use an AED on patients suffering Cardiac Arrests. the most serious of medical 8m8rgencies.
