The obove named have swed during the year. The Trustees are kept infonned of the
activities and perfonnonce of the charitoble (xganisotion and provided with regular
management infoTmotion. The composition of the board is kept under review and
odditionol appoinlments will be made should Ihe need orise. All trustees are made awoie

We do not currentty have a monogemenl teom. Day to doy affairs ore overseen by the
project leod. rep(yling lo the board of Tnjstees os necessary.
Resldents
A challenging year wilh rockeling price rises especialty with energy coslsl These increases
have seen a slight loss in funds and so it wos decided Ihat allhough we have not increased
ovr rent since we opened several yeors ogo. now was the lime lo rectify this. An
evaluation of costs ond on app￿call0￿ lo Basingstoke ond Deon Borough Council saw o
35% rental increase agreed by them from 1st January 2023. This will hove a posilive impacl
on our funds for 2023124.
Occupancy for our accounting yeor hos ticked along at around 80% howeverjvst bef(Ne
the close of this yeaT'S accounts we are now ot l (KJ% occupancy.
We are delighted to hove suppcwted another move on for o residenl inlo his own
aparlment. Added help with furniture ond essentials h05 meanl thol he is delighted wilh
the new yoperty. and is doing very well.
Emphasis wll be ptaced on introducing some new actiwties for residents this year as we
build our little community and help our residents move on to independent living.

During the year the chority has reC￿ved donations and other income amounting to
£41.LMJ7 and has incurred expendilure of £42.175.
Reserves
The Trustees seek lo hold adequate reswes lo meet three rrK)nlhs operating costs
equivalent to atxjut £20.(KM).

Rlsk Monagement
The Trustees have rewewed the maj(y risks to which the chority is exposed and have taken
steps to mitigate the polential impoct of these.
Publlc Bene
The Trustees have considered Ihe guidonce provided by the Charity Commission
regarding public benefit and the work of the charity.
