## **Section C Objectives and Activities**

**2023 - 2024 report** :

Bitterne Manor Community Association Charitable Incorporated Organisation (BMCA CIO)

The Organisation was still recovering from covid where we only had 1 hire booking. The one primary long-term hirer was still in place and was stable in their business, so funding was not an issue. We are still looking for regular bookings during evenings or weekends but nothing in the pipeline. Our social media is going to have a makeover in 2024 to see if that will bring further enquiries.

Bitterne Manor Community Centre (BMCC)

Works have completed in the hall and infrastructure with the repairs of walls and washing facilities.

The web site has been highlighted as an area for future development. We were able to open for local elections.

## Section D Achievements and performance

**Summary of the main** The main achievement during 2023-2024 is to ensure the hall and offices **achievements of the charity** are in a fit state of operation to allow the key organisation to operate and **during the year** support the local community. We installed a proper hot water system to feed all kitchens and toilets on both floors which was funded from the CoOp community funding project. Parent Support Link have asked to have a bigger role in the day to day running of the site with extra hire of hall and grounds as part of the deal. BMCC are grateful for the work as it take pressure off the team.

None

## **Further financial review details (Optional information)**

You **may choose** to include additional information, where relevant about:

- the charity’s principal sources of funds (including any fundraising);

The hall hire from the community has been very weak with overall funding coming from only polling station rent in 2023-2024.
