Sidlesham Community Association.

Annual Report for the year ended 30th April 2021

The trustees submit their annual report for the above year during which there has been a significant decrease in activities in comparison to the previous year. The purpose of the Association is to raise funds towards the building of a new community hall on the freehold land owned by the Parish Council known as The Memorial Playing Fields. However, due to significant covid restrictions is has been impossible to organise functions leading to a substantial contraction in income. Aside from a donation of £20.00, the only other source of income was from a grant which produced £1,890. This latter sum enabled outside picnic tables to be purchased.

Procedures have again been checked to ensure financial management and identification of risks were fully understood. It is unfortunate that as a result of the covid lock-down it has not been possible to undertake any activities after the end of the financial year. As a consequence there will still be some outgoings for insurance etc although there will be no income to offset such costs. A loss for the following year will be inevitable.
